"Master Hemler." Hemler looked up from his studies. "Hey, Rift." "I have a letter for you, Master Hemler." He handed him the letter.
Hemler,
         My studies are going well and I miss you too! Maybe you can convince your parents to come visit. And....Hemmy.....buddy....if your crown was purple....we wouldn't be able to tell what was your crown and what was your hair....What do you mean Veil is giving you weird looks? That's not good.....maybe you should have Rift sit with you....Oh! And I have news too! Kole kissed my cheek! Mummy and dad didn't seem to like that....but I did. Besides you, Kole is my best friend. I guess we'll both figure it all out when the times right. Have....you talked to Cyran lately? He doesn't respond to my letters anymore...anyway I miss you a whole lot. Love ya man.

Hemler smiled a little. Kole was a good friend of them both......but so was Cyran. "Rift....can you contact Cyran?" "Prince Cyran? Indeed I can, Master Hemler." He smiled. "Thanks." He looked back down at what Veil had assigned him.

This was what he was supposed to learn to do soon. He honestly didn't want to. When would he ever need a stupid magic feather anyway? He closed the book and jumped onto his bed. He closed his eyes and rolled over on his side, hearing the door open he opened his eyes. "Hemler." Hemler sat up, looking towards the door. "Yes, Veil?" "Your lessons are starting an hour later tomorrow." "K." Why...? Veil gave him a stiff nod and left the young prince confused as hell. Hemler shook his head and layed back down, falling asleep within moments.
