There is a lot you should know about me. I was a burden to this earth the moment i entered. The world was doomed waiting for my gift, or curse as some may say, to unleash itself upon those around me.
My name was Angelica Jonelisa, I had the brightest shade of red hair, I had a green eye and a brown eye. I loved dressing up to look nice and I was always fascinated by music. When my parents named me, they were oblivious to the fact I was far from an angel sent from heaven.
My mother was Michelle Jonelisa-Carter. She loved cooking, doing the garden and re-decorating our home every month or so. She had short blonde hair and grey eyes, she always wore a dress with flowers on in the summer and a dress with snowflakes in the winter.
My father was Johnathan Jonelisa. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He had many hobbies, too many for me to list. He worked as an architect for one of the big companies of London.
I had a big sister called Faith, she had black hair and stone grey eyes. She was quite tall. She loved to paint and fight. Fighting was her speciality, she had been in a boxing club and a karate club since she was about 5.
But enough about my family.
The story started February 18th, 1984. I was 12 years old, playing in my fathers workshop, the one room in our house where I was not meant to go.
I got bored quite quickly as my attention focused on a glowing light coming from a thin sheet which appeared to be covering something that I was definitely not meant to see. But curiosity got the better of me.
Throwing the sheet beside me, I looked up at the glowing object that sat naked infront of me. I wasn't sure what to make of it but I definitely didn't know that this glowing object was to change my life for the worst.
Not thinking, I grabbed the jar that the glow was imprisoned within and went to my room. I put it under my bed, hiding it with a jacket I had under my bed.
"Angelica! Faith! Dinners ready!" My mother called up. I quickly scattered away from under my bed, running down the stairs.

A week had passed and I had already forgotten about the stolen glow that stayed hidden beneath my bed. I arrived home from school as I saw my sister panicking and stressing.
"What's wrong faith?" I asked, worried.
"I need to go, they've got mother and father." She proclaimed, confusing me.
"Who? Are they okay?! What's going on??" I questioned, beginning to overthink.
"The people who are looking for the core, they are certain that mother and father have it and they will kill them if they don't give it to them. But that's outrageous, they would never steal anything especially the core." She explained
"What core? What is that?" I asked, anxious that the core is what was hidden under my bed, forgotten by yours truly.
She explained what it looked like and it was clear that it was infact under my bed. I was too stubborn and scared to open up about it of course, so I kept quiet.
"You must stay home so I know you're safe, okay? You're not ready for this kind of situation. Besides you're far too young, 4 years younger than me." She proposed
"I want to help! I need to help! What if you get killed helping them!!" I yelled, trying not to cry.
"Just stay home okay? I promise I will be back safely with momma and papa." She assured me as she left the front door, leaving me stood in fear.
