ReSlime : Finding A Way Back In Another World

ARC I CHAPTER I : REBOOT

In between of various passing humans , Humans with features of monster or animals. I was standing in front of a foundation in a sunny noon.

I stood still , confused and trying to figure out my situation. Various peoples passing by were giving me a strange look as I basically appeared out of nowhere.

Wasn't I just in Jura forest like a second ago?.. now I'm in an unfamiliar place with the sun shining brightly when it was the a cloudy and silence night not so long go... Was the shadowy hand and female voice responsible for this? How're they connected to each other and where did they dropped me at? I furrowed my brows in confusion, Whenever I've been transported to the opposite side of the world or maybe... In a new universe itself?..

Just as I was to call Raphael , I was rudely interrupted as someone shouted at me. He was sitting in a shiny carriages with golden outlines , and it was being pulled by two unfamiliar brown creatures which gives a feeling of a velociraptors from Jurassic park

The person looked like a noble , his appearance gave it off since he was wearing a lustrous outfit made from a fine quality of silk. The collar of his shirt was so lustrous that one may assume it was made of purely diamond and gold. He was wearing a hat and had various rings in his fingers with different gemstones fit on the ring. He had a well shaped grey moustache and few wrinkles on his face.

"Move aside! I don't have the damn day to wait for you to finish getting a tan, Brat!" He rudely remarked at me.

I moved aside from the road. I clicked my tongue in annoyance, I wanted to lash at him for him rude behaviour but it is better to not get in trouble in a unfamiliar place where I don't have any connections.

' Well that was rude , Raphael, I take it we're far away from tempest?'

< Saying we're far away would be a heavy understatement, I scanned almost everything everywhere, This place or world.. is completely new and erotic to us , it's safe to say we are no longer in the same world>

' well.. that is not that surprising to be honest , the circumstances were screaming that this was the case... '

I grimaced at this , I don't know how does the time works in this world , It could be an year in my universe while only being 12 days here.. Not to mention it was night in tempest while it's sunny noon here.. It is foolish to waste time needlessly... I've to find a way back. There is no guarantee how much panic will spread out if I'm gone missing for too long , and my enemies will take advantage of my absence. My gaze darkened at that thought.

Perhaps.. the one who brought me here would be the answers for that.

' What about that voice? And that Shadowy hand.. What did it meant by such a phrase?.. what's next, I get an ability like I got in the previous world?'

Raphael didn't replied for a few seconds.

< I'm afraid I don't know the interpretation of such phrase concerning you but I believe it is something related... to the strange ability you have granted when you entered this world>

' I was just joking around! I didn't expected to actually gain another ability! What type of ability is it anyways?'

< That's the problem, I have never seen any power like this. Not like it's stronger than any other but it is Enigmatic enough that we'll only know how it'll work when it's activated. It is an outer world ability gained from that thing, and the only way to understand it is to use it>

' I see , well then.. I suppose we need to move on quickly'

I made up my mind on where to begin , A determined look crossed my face as I observed my surroundings. I'm in luck that I have been dropped off on such an open place in such a lively time and city. It could have been worse, where I would be in woods or a cave and no villages around.

I tried summoning ranga and looked at my shadow , upon no response, I let out a sigh. It was expected but worth a try at least.

I followed the main road in the direction of west , I glanced at the passing Creatures that look like a hybrid of monster and human , I listened from the whispers that those are called demi humans here, and apparently are ex-rebels.. I would not be surprised if the court and king here would be biased towards them. I took many glances at tens of chariots on the road being run by the creatures called ground dragons.

"I guess this is your typical medieval fantasy world" I said to myself with my hands behind my head.

"Ahhhhhhh!!"

I heard a terrified scream of a child , I quickly turned around to find the source of the scream. It was a child , lying on the main road crying and trying to reach forward while a chariot was coming towards him.

My eyes narrowed, Calculating how fast I need to be to evade the carriage and also pull the child without injuring him. I ran towards him and jumped gracefully across the road, I grabbed his shirt and pulled him into my arms and landed on the other side of the road gracefully on my two legs. With him being laid in bridal position in my arms.

I looked back to see that the chariot was already far away , not even bothering to the fact they almost killed an innocent child. I frowned looking at the dust trail it left, clenching my fist in anger at the sheer audacity of him. But upon hearing silent hiccups , My expressions softened as while I turned to check on the child in my arms.

"Are you alright?" I asked with a worried expression to the bawling kid I had in my arms , through his hiccups he manages to utter a silent yes.

I heard clapping noises built up from behind , I looked behind to see everyone clapping with their faces in awe.

"that was awesome!"

"Wow!"

"is she a knight or something?"

"She moved like wind!"

Various people expressed their amazement. I rubbed the back of my head and my smile twitched at response to being called a 'she'.

I carefully placed down the kid , and bended down to his height and examine for any possible injuries.

"well , Looks like you're all fine. But don't play in the middle of a road again? Okay?"

"Uh-uh! Thank you so much , beautiful miss!" The corner of my mouth twitched at his response.
