It's as if you don't realize that perfection doesn't have to mean you're good at everything. Perfection doesn't mean you don't have flaws and created as some unimaginable being. No, perfection in my eyes is everything you are and everything you hide in the dark. Perfection to me, is everything you're so scared to show because of those who hurt you. You act as if I hadn't seen those thing, that I have seen the tears streaming down your face. As if I hadn't heard your screams and rushed to be there. You act as if you don't try your hardest to undo the damages that people have done to you. You discredit yourself at every turn and make yourself out to be something unloveable and unworthy of my love. That couldn't be far from the truth. I love you in the dark and I'm the light. I loved you over the spans of thousands of years. I see you for you and not what others has told you you are.
You are my dove and nothing you've been through or will go through will change my mind.
