Hiya! So my account hasn't gotten any new traction as of lately or anything, but I hate the bio format so much now, and so much has changed in my life lately, so I figured I'd just do a new introduction of sorts here!
First of all, my name is Jamie; I'm a female from Canada! I was named after my grandfather James, and Scottish names were important to my mom (my little sister's name is Fiona, which is Gaelic!) I was born and raised in Ontario about 2 hours north of Toronto, but moved to Nova Scotia in July 2022.
I'm a college student studying to be in the travel and tourism field, but no idea what job I want yet! Traveling is a huge passion of mine, so any job that involves it would be amazing!
My #1 travel locations are:
• Greece, simply because it's beautiful and I love the food,
• Scotland, because my whole family is Scottish (and my god is Scotland beautiful),
• and a trip to every province AND territory in Canada, whether its backpacking, buying/renting an RV, or separate trips.
Rapid fire get to know me trivia:
- I'm a huge bookworm and have been since I was a kid.
- I love writing, especially short stories.
- I'm demisexual.
- I'm an ambivert.
- I love writing reviews/opinion rants, about books, music, pop culture, etc.
- I love photography (especially pretty sky pics, the serotonin is unreal).
- I might have a slight tattoo addiction (I had 3 before I was even 18, and more coming).
- Music is my happy place.
- If you've followed me for a while, you know I'm a huge Ariana Grande fan.
- I STILL don't have a license.
- I LOVE theater/musicals, both watching and performing them. I miss that atmosphere the most from high school.
- Acting will always be my biggest "what if." I wish I had gotten into it sooner, as it's probably my biggest passion in the world.
- For a 2000's baby, I'm very technologically incompotent...
- My parents never pushed me into any sports/clubs as a kid, and now I'm an adult with no practical skills or interests :/
- Fall is 100% my favourite season.
- I'm 99% sure I'm ADHD/ADD. I display every symptom known to mankind and it irks me to know that I still haven't gotten tested, so will keep you guys updated in that area lol.
- I love cooking and baking.
- I'm not very good at art but I love to try anyway.
- I played the violin for 5 years in elementary school, but never learned how to read sheet music. Being in NS now, I'd love to revisit it.
- I go camping every summer.
- I just recently watched Bridgerton and now I NEED to read the books.
- I'm honestly not a big TV/movie fan.
- I HATE horror with the burning passion of a thousand suns.
- I'm a dogs over cats person.
- I'm a Slytherin.
- I'm part of many fandoms, from books to music to movies. Some to note are:
