"Higher! Mom! Make it go higher!"

"Higher! Mom! Make it go higher!"

"You might slip and fall!"

"I won't! I'll hold on tightly! Push me harder and make it go higher, mom!"

"As you wish, my princess!"

The laughter of a seven-year-old girl and her mother rang throughout the empty park. The little girl, along with her mother, was on the swings. Her squeals grew even louder as her wish of going higher in the air came true.

"Is that high enough?!"

(Y/N) could barely hear her mother's voice through the air rushing past her ears. The wind felt heavenly. If she spread out her arms, it would feel like she was flying through the air. But the fear of falling flat on her face and breaking a few teeth was enough to make her grip on the chains even more tightly.

Unfortunately for her, her speed slowed down. The (H/C)-haired girl whirled around to look at her mother, who just gave her a small smile. She knew exactly what that look meant, and she couldn't help but whine.

"Mom! Please! Just five more minutes!"

"You already said that about fifteen minutes ago! Come on, sunflower. We have to go home. You know how cranky your dad gets when he comes home and doesn't get his... his juice."

The small girl huffed as she stood up straight, dusting her dress before she skipped towards her mother, a pout on her lips.

"Why can't he just wait for five more minutes?! What's so special about that juice anyways? Is it that nice? Can I have some of it-?"

"N-no, you can't! Uh... that's not for you, princess."

"But why? Why can't I have it?! Daddy has it every day!" The woman could watch as her daughter's face slowly turned red. A sign of a tantrum that she needed to stop before it started.

"Fine. You want some, right? We can get you some on the way back home. Only if you are a good girl tonight and if we leave right now."

"Really?! Okay! Let's go!"

The (E/C)-eyed woman could only shake her head and let a fond smile grow on her face as she watched her daughter run forward before she turned around and waved at her to come quickly.

She just hoped that the little girl wouldn't notice the difference between the alcohol her father consumed and the apple juice she was going to be presented with at home.
