|12| Binary sunsets

Start from the beginning

Once all the chairs have been set up she tells me to sit and then she goes to gather a group of people to join in on the game. I used to be a Jedi and now here I am being forced to play games made for fifteen year olds. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I sit in a chair with Fives to my left and Trilla to my right, arms crossed over my chest.

"I'll start," Rex volunteers. "Never have I ever tried a drink made by our lovely bartender here today." I take a shot. "Anyone who hasn't can you please make your way to the bar right now. I have a special drink I would like you all to try. Yes Lucy, I'm looking at you." Everyone watches as the stormtrooper makes her way towards the bar, Rex following closely behind, grinning mischievously.

For some reason we all continue watching her as she slowly sips at the odd coloured drink that Rex just made for her. Just as we are turning back to the game we notice her face go a strange green colour before she runs to the bathroom. "She must have drunk it too quick. Anyone else want one?" No one takes Rex up on his offer and he shrugs. "Your loss." But the grin on his face tells a different story.

"Okay, my turn." I say, thinking of something I have been wanting to know for a few days. "Never have I ever cheated in sabacc." A few troopers drink their shots but my attention is stuck on Fives. I watch him reach forwards, debating whether to lie or not but eventually he takes the shot, glaring at me the entire time. I smile innocently back at him.

"You little shit, Fives." Rex shouts at his friend.

"Why does it matter? I still lose."

"Okay this one is more like a question but I just want to know... who was the last person you all had sex with?"

"Oh come on Trilla I thought we were keeping the game classy."

"But where's the fun in that? I'm curious, okay, (y/n)."

"Fine. Everybody just answer the question. For me it was just over two years ago." I answer casually, not ashamed by my answer.

"Two years?"

"Yes, Trilla. It's not my fault that I don't like any of you lot in that way."

"It was last week for me. A waitress at this bar I was undercover in." Fives casually slaps him on the shoulder, a sort of congratulations. Eurgh men.

"Ha! I beat you all."

"It's not a competition, Trilla." We all practically say in chorus.

"I know that but if it was, I would win. It was last night for me. A really hot zabrak."

The game continues like this for a bit, with everyone getting more and more drunk.

"And that, my friends, is how you win a bet with a wookie and live to see the next day."

"That was such bullshit Trilla." I say, laughing at her ridiculous story. "I was there when it happened and it wasn't anywhere near as badass as you just described."

"Well my point still stands. You never threaten a woman with a blade." The room erupts with laughter, not really because the joke was that funny but because we are all so drunk. I had chosen to sit on the floor about half an hour ago and now I am too scared to try to stand up less I fall over and make a fool of myself. Fives is sat beside me swaying from the copious amount of alcohol he has drunk. I think the only person not drunk is Cody and that's only because he arrived an hour ago. Rex managed to drag him away from Miro's bedside. He was very reluctant at first but after we all told him that it didn't matter because Miro was sleeping, he agreed to come join the party.
