Lexi Collins was a normal teenage girl. Or that's what it seems. Her life was pretty easy growing up. She had two loving parents, who were well off, and she kept up her grades making her the poster girl for perfection. However her life turned around the minute she met Allison DiLaurentis. The six girls in the friend group consisting of Allison, Spencer, Lexi, Hanna, Aria and Emily, were inseparable the minute they met in 7th grade.

When Allison goes missing, Labor Day weekend 2009, the liars split up unintentionally. Friendships were lost and a year later a lot had changed. Assuming their beloved friend and leader was dead the girls try to move on the best they can. When someone they don't know enters their lives they are forced to deal with past conflicts and grief.

Throw in a hot new boy and Lexi's own family secrets, she definitely has her fair share of problems and insecurities to deal with.
