"Girl, you lie to everyone including yourself. I bet you're one of those primped up rich people that think they're better than everyone else just because you have money, right?" Riley snorted. "You're tiny as hell. I'll leave you with your hair becoming so tangled it looks like Chewbacca's pubes, and who knows, there might be some blood shed! I'm tired of shitty ass people like you!"
"Excuse you, bitch. I didn't have a choice to be rich." I thought. "You don't fucking know me! But you should know by now that Priya's out talking more shit than anyone else in this place!" I screamed, then added, "And to be clear, that statement is the only time I've talked shit about Priya. Stop being a little bitch and hating on me for talking shit when you're the one attacking me with bullshit words!"
"Oh hell no, did you just call me a little bitch?" Riley snapped. "I'll show YOU who's a little bitch, and I'm sure as hell gonna attack you now!"
Riley was tall, pretty muscular for a girl, was involved in three sports (one of them outside the school), and had an attitude that seemed as tough as her. Sometimes her attitude was definitely put to use to get the school spirit more wild, but other times it seemed like her knuckleheaded self was reckless and rushed into things easily. At this moment, it was annoying the crap out of me. All I heard were cheers shouting things like "Fight!" and "Don't hurt Iris!" and "Man, Riley, you're really digging through whatever victim you want!" I guess it's good to be loved at this school, but Riley isn't that strong.
Kids at school barely picked fights with her because she always won her fights. I saw how she fought though, being in that same crowd that would watch and stand by. She was a tough fighter, but not a bully. She always beat someone else for a reason, and right now, her so-called reason was because I just called her a bitch. I'm not sure if she minds the whole Priya thing anymore because I keep denying it.
She yelled loudly and swung her fist toward me, which I sidestepped. She put too much momentum into the punch and she stumbled forward, so I gave her a push causing her to hit a random locker. Glaring at me, she gave out another battle cry and continued to swing at me, trying to grab my medium-long length hair as I quickly dodged all of her attacks. "Fucking fight me!" she sneered. "All you're doing is avoiding my moves!"
"Is this so I can show you how to actually fight? All you do is charge in head first. You don't intimidate me," I cooly replied. "I'll beat it into your numb skull that I'm not just a weak girl. I toughen up whenever I want."
I considered attacking her wind pipes, but then thought that kind of attack was as exaggerated as my numb skull remark. This is just a high school fight.
I charged at her next, purposely throwing a sluggish punch that she blocked to see if it'd make her fighting spirit even higher. Since she was slightly taller than me, she threw a punch that was slightly downward, so I ducked, startled her by launching my face near hers, then grinned as I threw a hard punch at her cheek. She staggered to the side, holding her cheek, and, even angrier than before, she charged at me again so I proceeded to spin in a way a basketball player would dribble the ball past another player. Then I elbowed her in the back and kicked her as I spun around to face her back. Finally, once she was on her arms and knees, I put one foot on her back as if I were a king that had just put a flag on his new piece of land. "Okay, bye," I said, taking my foot off her back and escaping the crowd with my friends.
That's basically the kind of stuff I deal with at school (even though it's rare).
School is fun, though. The assignments are easy, I have a lot of friends, and it's way better than having to do governmental tasks. It's not like my tasks and training can be avoided whenever I want them to be. So I enjoy the ironic freedom school offers, because I don't want to be depressing.
