Okay I'm reeeeaaaaaallllllyyyyy tired so I'm just gunna start the damn story. Forget the damn bios. I'll write them tomorrow. The translation will be at the bottom.

{•Maxine's POV:•}
"Dolci! Let's go! We have to leave!" Mamma yells up the stairs. "Coming Mamma!" I yell back. I run down the stairs. I push my twin out of the way with my hip. "Hey!" He says in a Brooklyn accent. "Shut up!" I yell back in my Brooklyn accent. "Be nice Dolci." Papa says. I sigh and walk into the Diner. "Pops Max is doing it again!" José yells as I sit on a booth and lay out. "Figlia get your apron on please." Papa says. I get up and tie the apron around my waist. A knock sounds at the front door. "It's Vladimir!" Vladimir says. José opens the door. Vladimir walks in, in a tank top and black tight jeans. "Vladimir is here!" Vladimir yells. I walk out the swinging door. "And there is the pretty lady who lightens up my day." He says with a smug smile. "And there is the man who worsens my day." I say with a sarcastic smile. "Vladimir, I don't know why you don't just move in with us above the diner." Mamma says. "Mamma no!" I yell almost dropping the menus. "What figlia? He's our cook and he's here all the time." Mamma says. "And he's your brothers best friend." Pops adds as the two boys do their secret handshake. I groan. "Now that's the sound I like." Vladimir says from behind me scaring me. I walk away putting gum in my mouth.

"Welcome to The Rossi Fanily Diner." José says. A girl with bright orange hair walks in. "Hi!" She says. "I'm here because I saw a hiring sign out front." She says smiling. Papa comes from his office. "Hi I'm Mary. I'm here because there was a sign out front." She says still smiling. "Great! We needed more help. Here's your outfit!" Mamma says handing her an oversized outfit that the old waitress hooker wore. "What are the stains on here?" She asks in her preppy voice. "I don't know." I say shrugging. "Well I'm Mary as you know!" she says with a huge smile. "And I'm I don't care." I says. "Oh. Well hi there I don't care." Mary says. "It's Max. Her name is Max." Bianca says as her, Elena and Melina walk up in their waitress outfits. "I'm Bianca, this is Elena and this little one here is Melina." Bianca says rubbing her knuckles on Linas head. "Ouch!" She says pushing her hand off. "Max can you help Mary with everything?" Mamma says. "No." I bluntly say. "Max." Pops says on a warning voice. "Fine." I say.

She follows me to a table. "Whats up Johnny." I ask one of our regulars. "Ooo I want some of Mamma Rossi's Chocolate Marble Crème Cake please Maxine." He says. "It's Max." I say walking away. "Some of Mamma's marble cake!" I yell as I put the order up. "Right so who do I get to do?" Mary asks excited. "You get Martha." I say walking over to Martha. Mary smiles. "Hi I'm Mary what-" she starts saying but I interrupt her. "No smiling." I say as I pull her away. "Why?" She asks. "Because if you smile then that means I'm gonna have to smile and I don't want people to expect that of me." I say pulling her back over there. "The tables sticky!" Martha says.  "I'll get a wet rag right away ma'am!" Mary says running off the the kitchen. "She's not gonna last a day is she?" Elena asks slinging her arm over my shoulders. "Nope." I say popping the P. "Maxine! I'm dying of hunger ova here!" Martha says. "What do ya want Martha?" I asks. "I want bacon and eggs with some sausage, and make it extra eggs. And some coffee. But add a bunch of sugar." She says as I write everything down. I walk over to behind the bar. "Martha's here!" I yell putting the order up.

We continue with the long day. "Diners closed." I say counting my tips as the bell rings. "That's not a way to greet your best friend." A voice says. I look up and see Ryan, my very best friend from forever. "Hey Ryan. The usual?" I ask getting up. "Yep. Scalding hot coffee with nine pieces of Mamma Rossi's Marble cake and two of Pops' freshly made cupcakes." He says as I get his order. He pulls out a twenty and stuffs it in my apron as I hand him his food. He opens the marble cake and takes a bite. "Still the best." He says walking out. Jose closes and locks the door. "Wait!" I yell running to unlock the door. "What?" Jose asks. "Don't lock Gary out. He'll be here in 10 seconds." I say. 10 seconds later Gary comes walking in. "There's the love of my life!" I say as he walks in. "Hey Gary!" Bianca, Melina, and Elena yells from the kitchen as they make his food to-go.

Gary sits down with a sigh. He fixes his hat on his head. Gary is a 72 year old Dark skinned man. "Here ya go Gary! Tell the girls I said hi." I tell Gary as he walk out with the bag. "Will do Max." He says. Jose locks the door. We all head upstairs. I flop on my bed with a sigh as Elena sits on hers taking her shoes off. "Does it ever end?" I ask looking at her. "What does?" She asks. "This. Our little waitress life. Having a Bakery and Diner. Do we go out and get our own lives? Don't get me wrong I love Mamma and pops with all my being but I just don't want to spend my whole life here in Brooklyn in a small Diner/Bakery." I say laying on my side to look at her. "Well your the oldest so I should be asking you this but I don't really know. I mean your Italian and I'm just adopted." She says. "Adopted or not your family no matter what. Light skinned or dark skinned. Your family. And as much as this pains me to say, even Vlad is family." I say with a slight smile on my face. "I heard that! And I love you too!" Vladimir yells from José's room. We laugh. Elena gets up and sits on my bed. "I over heard Mamma and Papa talking a couple hours ago." She whispers.

I scoot forward. "What happened?" I ask grabbing her hands. "We're moving soon. Apparently we're not doing so well here and the property owners are getting upset because of all the shootings and stuff. So their selling the property to the government and once they do that we're getting kicked out." She whispers. "What?" I say. She just nods. "Well shit." I say laying back.
