The lights dimmed, and the music began to play- a rustic, jazz-style tune. Aloha knew it immediately- Army listened to enough Hadestown for him to recognize "Our Lady of the Underground"

"Ladies, gentlemen, and those who could care less~"  A voice said, from a speaker. "Get ready for the night of your lives! Please welcome your hostess for the evening, your Lady of the Underground, The Vixxen!"

The curtain rose, revealing a woman-well, drag queen. She held an old-fashioned silver microphone in her gloved hand. She had red fishnets, heels, and miniskirt. Her corset was red and black, and her ginger locks cascaded down her body, framing her freckled face. A white fur coat completed the look.

"I dunno about you boys," she sang. This was the first time Aloha's been to a drag show where the performer sang. The Vixxen's voice was sultry, and vaguely familiar.

"But if you're like me, then hanging around this ol' manhole it's bringing you down." She walked down the stage, bringing the stand mic with her- she was probably mic'd up some other way. She moved her hips as she walked, her skirt swaying.

"Six feet under, getting under your skin." She seemed to look directly at Aloha, eyes hooded in a seductive way. "Cabin fever, it's setting in."

"You're stir-crazy, stuck in a rut." She rolled her r, moving around the stage slowly and deliberately, allowing each part of her body to be seen and admired. Aloha blushed, The Vixxen moving near where Aloha was- which was pretty close to the stage.

She smiled down at Aloha- it was more of a seductive, coy smile. "You could use a little pick-me-up."

Aloha watched with his jaw slightly agape as The Vixxen ran a hand over her thigh. "I could give you what it is you crave, a little somethin, from the good ol' days."

"I got the wind right here in a jar," She slid an arm out of her fur coat. Call Aloha a victorian gentleman, but the light on her bare shoulders was doing something to him. "I got the rain on top of the bar"

The Vixxen took her other arm out of the coat, before throwing it offstage. "I got sunshine up on the shelf." She placed her hands on her hips, moving them up her body. "Allow me to introduce myself!"

She traced the left side of her collarbone, her hand trailing down her body."Brother, what's my name? My name is;"

"OUR LADY OF THE UNDERGROUND!" The bar-including Aloha-replied. Even when Army sang this at home, he managed to get the whole house to call back. Even Mask (who, granted, sang back to annoy the ginger)

The Vixxen smiled, repeating the collar trace on the right, this time going up. "Brother, what's my name? My name is;"

"OUR LADY OF WAYS, OUR LADY OF MEANS!"

"Brother, what's my name?" She twirled in her heals, tracing up her body again, stopping at her shoulders. "My name is;"

"OUR LADY OF THE UPSIDE DOWN!"

She chuckled into the mic. "Wanna know my name? I'll tell ya. My name" She twirled again, stomping her foot on the beat. "Per-seph-one!"

The bar erupted into cheers as The Vixxen pulled off one glove, swinging it before tossing it offstage.

She walked over to Aloha again "Come here, brother. Let me guess,"  She knelt down, making it easier to tilt up his chin with her gloved hand. Aloha's face was bright pink. "Spring flowers, autumn leaves," Aloha's breath hitched as she took her bare hand and caressed his cheek.

The Vixxen grinned at the male, standing back up. "Ask me brother, and ye shall receive."

She turned, walking back to the center of the stage, her hips-and ass- moving as she did so, almost making sure Aloha got a good view.

"Or maybe these just ain't enough, maybe you're looking for some stronger stuff." She grabbed her silver mic with her gloved hand, her other resting on top of her chest. "I got a sight for the sorest eyes~"

Her voice suddenly turned solemn- it does work with the song. "When was the last time you saw the sky?"

"Wipe away your tears, brother. Oh, brothers I know how it feels." She walked to the other side of the stage, gently taking the hand of another ginger- hey, Forge was here!

"I can see your blinded, by the sadness of it all." She let go of Forge's hand, going back to center. "But look a little closer and everything, will be revealed." She walked backwards, almost flush against the curtain, but not quite. "Look a little closer, and..." She grinned, taking off her other glove.

"THERE'S A CRACK IN THE WALL!!"

As the music played, The Vixxen danced around the stage, using her silver mic as a bit of a miniature pole. She took the actual mic from the stand. "Ladies and gentlemen, how are we doing out here tonight?!"

The bar cheered again, and Aloha was just in awe as the woman smiled and flipped her hair. "That's good to hear! Stick around after the show, we got more coming~"

Aloha's blush only intensified, but he couldn't help but recognize her voice from... somewhere.

"YOU WANT STARS?!" The Vixxen sang, holding onto her mic stand as she leaned back. "I've got a sky full!"

"Put a quarter in my slot," A few cheers rang out as she pushed up her chest. "You'll get an eyeful."

"You want the moon? I've got her too." She moved a hand to her hip, her other on her silver mic. "Right here waiting, in my pay-per view."

"How long's it been? A little moonshine ain't a sin." She smiled, looking at Aloha again.

"Tell my husband, take his time. What the boss don't know, the boss won't mind." The Vixxen sang, almost as if propositioning Aloha for a night of... ahem, activities.

The bar erupted into applause- Aloha included, but he couldn't help but feel a bit... well, intrigued. The Vixxen was gorgeous, but familiar.

Whatever, it was a problem for Aloha to figure out later. For now, he wanted to watch the rest of the show.
