"Lante, someone's checking you out." My friend Rachelle said as she shoulder bump me. I shrugged at her as I didn't pay attention. The only attention I had on tonight was for my drink to be served just how I wanted it to be. I was so busy watching the bartender make it how I wanted it to be that I couldn't care less about a guy looking at me across the room.
"If he's not white I don't want him," I commented with a smile.
"Well isn't white but regardless if you don't I'll take my chances," Rachelle said as she sipped her drink and glanced behind me over to whatever she was looking at.
"I don't fuck with black guys, dealing with my brother I decide it's better for me to try other races or none at all," I said to her reminding her of a preference I had. I made it clear to myself from my own past regression I wouldn't think about dating someone of my own zone, they only disappoint me and fail me every time. I learned from my brother and his way with women that they're all ignorant that they treat women like shit and infill their self-hatered onto women like myself. I watch my brother do it to Kim and I took notes. I kept it and picture them as my set of what every black guy truly was. Maybe it was bad for me to think that every guy acted like my brother but again I had my reasons to not go down as Kim did.
