The twins just laughed it off, agreeing and also planning what to do.

"We'll leave you to have a sweet talk, okay?" Mark bid and dragged Jeno out of the scene.

Once they're away, Donghyuck pouts and pulls Gayoon into a tight hug.

"Should I pass?"

"Why would you?"

"You're having second thoughts!" he whined.

"I'm not. You're the one having second thoughts," she retorted.

"But... but you're worried, aren't you?"

Gayoon pulled away in a fond smile and cupped his cheeks.

"Why would I worry? Are you going to do something bad?"

Donghyuck shook his head.

"Are we going to go back to how we were before?"

He shook his head again.

Gayoon's smile widened and pecked at his lips.

"Then I won't worry about anything. I trust you, love. Don't break that, okay?"

"Will you be in my place when I get home?"

"Do you want me to be?"

Donghyuck nodded. "I'll tell Jeno to drop you off first before we'll go to the bar."

"Okay"

Gayoon felt great. She meant it when she said she wasn't worried about anything.

Donghyuck is hers, as she is to him. They've shared a lot of love for each other, both verbally and in physical attachment, and whatever Donghyuck has done in the past will surely not trigger him to do it again.

The level of trust Gayoon has is already leaking on top of her bottle, but it never lessens.

Donghyuck is the one concerned. For one reason: he might hurt her.

Donghyuck hasn't stepped foot in the bar for a long time now. Ever since he and Gayoon accepted their relationship, Donghyuck swore not to go back to the life he once had.

He does take sips sometimes—a maximum of a bottle or two—but he's always with Gayoon and no one else.

Now, when Donghyuck stepped into the place that became almost his second home, he felt a creep on his skin—a familiar excitement.

But Donghyuck is also fast to beat himself sane.

No, he thought. You have Gayoon waiting for you at home.
