"You sure you don't want to Chim?" Taehyung asks, adjusting the cap on his head. His ash grey hair escaping the confines of the woolen cap and falling into his eyes.

"Pretty sure Tae," the shorter replies, looking around. It seems half of the campus is here but it's to be expected since it's weekend and people either go partying or come here to skate.

"And you Seokie hyung?" Tae turns to the elder watching him tap his feet to the beat of the song playing on the old juke box. Who even has jukebox now a days?

"Nah am good Tae," he replies with a smile, "I have to go finish my essay anyways or Professor Chan will have my head."

"Why do you have to write essays if you're majority in dance hyung?" Tae wonders aloud and the elder just shrugs.

"I'll see you around yeah," Hoseok says turning away, "Have fun kids."

"He's saying it as if we are in high school," Jimin remarks and Taehyung can't help but laugh.

"He doesn't mean it like that Chim," he says, "Well then off I go."

"Be careful since your brother is here and all," Jimin advises and he nods, eyeing his elder brother stand at one side of the ice rink trying to steady his boyfriend who keeps falling face first onto the ice.

Honestly he likes Namjoon, a little more than Jin but the former is so clumsy that Taehyung wants to tell his brother to take his Alpha boyfriend somewhere else. Preferably where he's less of a threat to other people. But then decides against it because he doesn't want Jin to sulk all the way home.

The elder omega looks pretty with his fluffy pink sweater and blue jeans. He looks like someone who belongs on a magazine cover and the only reason Taehyung hasn't told him that yet is because Princess Jin already has a huge ego.

The rink is really crowded and honestly Taehyung would've rather gone to the park near the music department. It has this huge lake which freezes over in winter but he knows it's not firm enough yet to skate, hence he finds himself here.

He starts with simple moves once he finds a secluded corner in the left part of the rink. When he considers himself warmed up enough, he starts on the routine he saw on the internet. It was performed by Shoma Uno in the winter Olympics and it was so beautiful Taehyung couldn't help but watch it again and again. But then it wasn't enough and he wanted to try it out himself.

It would have been a lot better if he didn't have audience but well beggars can't be choosers so he shrugs off the feeling of others around him, of the different scents invading his nose and just focuses on the ice beneath his skates.

He's catching his breath after a pathetic attempt at a twizzle when a voice cooes from behind him.

"Didn't know you could skate like that," Tae doesn't need to look back to know that's it's Jieun, the scent of honey almost clogging up every pore in his body.

"Umm....thanks?" He finally turns, unsure of how to respond because why is The great Jieun talking to him? Isn't he too low on the social ladder or something? The girl hadn't been anything but hostile since he moved here.

Jieun is an only child of her parents, her father, an Alpha who also happens to be the Dean of the business faculty. Her mother is an omega and a fashion designer, pretty well known around the area and they have spoilt their daughter rotten. She's beautiful. Omegas in general are but she's a different level of beautiful. Petite frame, small face, defined features, long black hair. She's definitely pretty. And half the campus population has hots for her.

"Look Jungkook is here. Let's go say hi," then she's turning on her heel and skating off towards the golden alpha and his group.

"Umm...," He watches her go then skates back to the end of the rink because why would he want but go and say hi to Jeon Jungkook? It's clear as day that the Alpha doesn't even know of his existence seeing he and his friends usually hang out with Jieun the great.

Jeon Jungkook is the epitome of alphaness in his humble (not so) opinion. He's just as tall as Taehyung, but well built. He strikingly handsome, brown doe eyes, black hair, a chiseled jaw and he's the captain of the ice hockey team. They say he's good at whatever he does, hence the nickname 'Golden Alpha'.

He catches Jimin's eye who waves at him from a table near the food court. He smiles in return before resuming to twirl around, not in the mood to do anything serious now.

Suddenly somebody whizzes past him, waving something in the air as they skate away and he realises Jeon Jungkook is smirking at him, his woolen cap in hand.

"Ass," muttering under his breath he takes after the Alpha. That's his favourite cap. His grandma knitted it for him and no Alpha is going to take it away just like that, golden or not.

He tries catching upto him, dodging around all the others. It's difficult since Jungkook already had a good headstart but skating is one of the things Taehyung is very good at, so he increases his speed, his legs working by muscle memory more than anything else and he's sure his blades are leaving lines on the ice.

With a particularly hard thrust, he almost gets near the Alpha and extends his hands. Bending his knees to add up to his speed, he makes a grab for his cap, still in the Alpha's grip and manages to steal it from him. Clutching the cap to his chest, he smiles to himself and then turns around, sticking his tongue out at Jungkook as he skates away.

After his little chase, he decides that it's enough for the day so he takes the skates off and goes to sit by Jimin, who's already sliding a milkshake towards him.

"Thanks Chim!" He grins at the elder, "I was so hungry!"

Jimin hums in return but his eyes are somewhere else. He follows the elder's gaze to see Jungkook and his friends, Yoongi and Yugeom enter the food court with Jieun and her clones, Chung-ha and Yoona and walk to the table by the juke box. Only the most popular people every batch gets to sit there since who ever sits near the juke box controls what plays on it.

Taehyung rolls his eyes "Jimhoe you're staring!"

His friend's eyes snap towards him as a blush spreads on his cheeks.

"Why don't you just confess like a normal person and stop staring like a creep?" His friend has had the biggest crush on the mint haired defender since forever.

His friend looks flabbergasted, "I can't confess!" He whisper shouts, "Omegas don't confess Tae. Yoongi will think I am desperate!"

"Didn't know confessing was an Alpha birth right," he shrugs, stealing a bite from Jimin's burger. People here have such a conservative way of thinking. He has had a hard time adjusting to the town. He was born and raised in Daegu. His grandpa was a librarian at the University there and his grandma owned a small cafe. His father had business of some sort but he was always away especially after he remarried.

In Deagu omegas weren't supposed to be proper, weren't supposed to behave a certain way. They could be themselves and nobody batted an eye. He went out and parties on weekends with his Alpha and Beta friends, wore crop tops and piercings and his grandparents never had a problem.

"You and your Daegu ways," Jimin shakes his head, "Anyways enough about me, what was that little stunt you pulled with Jeon?" He asks suggestively.

"What stunt?" He questions around his straw, "The jerk tried to run away with my cap!"

Jimin shakes his head again, "And I thought you were an intelligent fellow taetae."

He shrugs his shoulders in return. He's not really the brightest of the lot but he's no bimbo by any means.

"You're impossible," the elder breathes, "Jungkook was looking at you the whole time Tae."

He nearly spits his drink out, "What? Why would he look at me Chim?" He steals another glance towards their table to see Jungkook sharing a pastry with Jieun who's chatting his ears off. The others busy talking amongst themselves as well. While Taehyung knows he's a good looking person, he also knows how hierarchy works in schools and colleges so he shakes the thought away.

"You're seeing things Chimmy. Focus on your minty midget," he goes back to his milkshake knowing thinking about one handsome Alpha would get him nowhere.

Jimin huffs in annoyance but keeps his mouth shut.
