"I just want some answers," she smirked, firing the crucio curse at Hermione who screamed. I crossed my arms and turned away, pinching the inside of my arm. I looked out the window to keep my emotions together as much as possible. When Lucius and Wormtail came back up, I surveyed the room.
"It's a fake," Hermione cried. "It's not the real sword."
"Someone get the goblin," Bellatrix demanded. I held up a hand to stop Wormtail from going and quickly went downstairs. It was extremely dark like all light had been sucked out. Just when I was about to pull out my wand to illuminate the room, someone grabbed my collar and pulled me into the bars.
"What the hell?" I snapped, and immediately, the hands let go and the lights came back on. I glared at Ron who looked terrified that he'd grabbed me instead of whoever he intended. "Are you absolutely mad?"
"I'm sorry, I, I thought you would be Wormtail," Ron apologized.
"Even if I was, that was the dumbest escape plan I have ever seen."
"I told him that wouldn't work," Harry rolled his eyes.
"Of course that wouldn't work. You two don't exactly have magic on your side." I pulled out my wand, pointing it back the way I had come. Muffliato. "Okay, we don't have much time." I unlocked the door.
"You can't break us out. That'll out you," Ron pointed out.
"As brilliant as you are strong, Ron Weasley," I rolled my eyes. "Of course, I can't help you, but that doesn't mean that someone else can't."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ron asked.
"Someone who can apparate in and out of inapparable areas," I emphasized, looking at Harry. Realization dawned on Harry's face.
"Wait, who?" Ron pressed, looking between us.
"Griphook, let's go," I motioned for him to come. Once he was out, I shut the door. "Be quick. I'll send Wormtail down in just a minute. He's easy enough to overpower. I'll get upstairs and to my room to help from the shadows. Because despite your brilliance, I would be able to stop you if I was in the room. And if I let you escape, I'd risk exposing myself," I explained, putting my wand away. Hermione screamed from above, and we all cringed. "You get the hell out of here, and you lie low for a little while. If you get caught again, they will not let you escape. Got it?" Harry nodded. I looked at him for a moment before backing away and hurrying upstairs.
"She always talks in clues. It doesn't make sense," Ron complained as I went out of earshot. Once I got back upstairs, I pushed Griphook towards Bellatrix and stood by Draco. Even after he verified--or lied--about the sword being a fake, she still hit Hermione with the cruciatus curse, demanding she tell her where she got the sword. Hermione screamed again, and it took everything in me not to cringe.
"You really don't want to tell me, you filthy Mudblood?" Bellatrix laughed, releasing the spell a few moments later. "Fine, let me kill you. I'd be doing the world a favor anyways." Hermione whimpered on the floor, daring a glance at me. Before Bellatrix could fire again, I stepped forward.
"Bellatrix?" I asked with a smirk. "While this is fun, I have a suggestion."
"Yes?"
"I have a potion in my room that would knock the two in the dungeon out cold. How about I go get that, then you can bring them up, take care of their little friend here, and give them the potion. Then we'll call the Dark Lord, and he'll take care of the rest."
"Then the last thing they'll see is the death of the Mudblood," she smirked, yanking Hermione up by her hair. She whimpered in pain. "I like it."
"Wormtail, go get them. You should be able to handle that on your own," I instructed. "Don't be an idiot." He hurried downstairs. "I'll be right back."
