The qualities of a potential spouse
Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty and for her piety. So select the pious, otherwise your hands will be soiled (i.e. you will regret)" (Bukhari)
Similarly a woman should also look for the quality of piety when considering marriage proposals.
