“What time is it?” Phillip asked, snapping me out of my remorse.

“Uh...” It took a moment for the question to register.  When it did, I swiftly slid my phone out of my pocket, unlocking it.

FOUR NEW MSGS

With a pang I remembered why my phone had been shoved back in my pocket in the first place.  I wasn't sure what I should do.

“Well someone seems awful intent on getting ahold of ya'” Phillip commented, looking over my shoulder.

“Uh... Yeah.” I tried to reassure myself.  It wasn't reasonable to automatically assume it was him.  It could be anyone, really.

“Are you gonna read them or should I get comfortable?” he asked, moaning.

I slowly pressed ignore.  The time flashed across the screen.

“It's 7:30.” I said, putting my phone away.  My heart beat had picked up.

“Mm.  Thanks.”

I glanced back up at the sky, which was now beginning to darken.  I let my eyes fall back to the beach.  Colton, Maggie and Schyler were no longer there.  I panned out my vision and caught sight of them slowly making there way towards us on the boardwalk.  Colton was saying something, and Sky and Mags burst out in laughter.

“That's our cue.” Phil sighed, getting to his feet.  He offered me a hand and I accepted.  As he pulled me to my feet, I noticed him cringe slightly.  His other hand went for his stomach.

“Phil are you sure your okay?” I asked quietly.  He was trying to look away from me.

“Just a stomach ache.” he repeated.

I studied his face.  “Maybe you should get it checked out by a doctor.” I suggested.

“It's nothing.” he turned from me and started walking towards the other three.  I sighed and followed.

“Nice sunset.” Maggie commented as we joined them and started walking down the sidewalk back towards the hotel.  The others nodded in agreement.

Phil looked amused, “Natalie was too preoccupied with C-” I stepped down hard on his foot, and he let out an incredibly un-Phillip like squeak, jumping away from me and nearly crashing into a palm tree.  He dodged it and somehow avoided falling into the street.  I shot him a look, and he held up his hands in mock surrender. “She was one hundred percent completely focused on watching every last detail of the,” he coughed, “Sunset.”

Colton raised his eyebrows and opened his mouth to say something. Then it appeared that he'd thought better of it because he closed his mouth and took a little sideways step away from me.

“Gosh Natalie I think you shattered my foot.” Phillip whined, looking down at his toes concernedly.

“With Toms?” I snorted.  Everyone laughed.  Well except Phil, who was still too preoccupied by his injury.

“You're gonna have to teach me how to stomp on feet.” Schyler said, looking impressed.

Colton looked between the two of us worriedly. “Please don't.” he begged.  Sky giggled.

“Well now I'm curious what Nat was really focused on.” Maggie said thoughtfully after a moment of walking in silence.

“Yeah don't even go there.” Phillip suggested, looking pointedly at his foot.  Maggie grinned mischievously.

“She couldn't get my foot if she tried.”

We were coming up on the front doors of our hotel.
