Finn and Kris had never been truely in love. They were two dumb 17 year old high schoolers who'd gotten together so they could say they were in a relationship, a football player and cheerleader. Maybe they had crushes on each other, but they never were in love. One night during a party after a successful football game the two had gotten too drunk to remember safe sex, and that led to Kris getting pregnant. Both their sets of parents were religious and traditional. Because of this they were forced to be wed as soon as they turned 18. After having their newborn little girl, Kayla, they lived together and tried to make things work for a few years. But a little after Kayla had turned 3, Finn had woken up to his wife and her stuff gone. No note, no message, not even a phone call. It was like she had disappeared into thin air. Throughout Kayla's early childhood her father had tried to make things work, he had good money and wanted things to be best for his daughter. But the grief of his wife leaving him laid heavy. He also felt guilty that Kayla would grow up without a mother figure so he married the first woman who showed interest, Whitney, when Kayla was 9. This woman was nice the first year, but then she came a rather nasty person. She put Finn down constantly, turned him into a depressed and broken man who couldn't get out of bed and left him like that, all while having constant spending sprees with his money. By the time Kayla was 12 she was taking care of herself, her father, and her 4 year old little half sister. This was always when she first begin coming to terms with the fact she didn't feel right in her developing body, just looking at it in the mirror made her feel sick. She began to google, as well as talking to the band teacher she had grown close to, and that was how she learned about being transgender.

By 13 he had finally confirmed that was him, he was a man, changed his name to Corey, and came out to his family. Finn had taken it well, only caring that his son was happy. Whitney hadn't though. She started by repeatedly misgendering Corey and using the wrong name, but gave up after awhile. This didn't stop the transphobia completely though. Instead anything Corey did that could be considered even remotely feminine she tried to say he was lying. Painted his nails? Lying. Thought a boy was cute? Lying. Even things such as singing to himself, cooking, or crying he was told that he was lying. When Corey was 15 he joined a high school band. They never went anywhere, but Corey had learned his love for rock and metal music, as well as playing drums, through this band. He stayed into it until it broke up after they all graduated school. When Corey was 17 he got really into video games, especially online. Seeing how streaming was doing, and needing money due to Whitney having almost full control over Finn's funds, he started. He blew up fast, but stayed relatively small- which he liked. Through streaming he became friends with other streamers- especially Ranboo, Tubbo, and Tommy. And even got to join the DreamSMP.

Corey hasn't been an adult long. The night he turned 18, and I mean as soon as the clock had hit 12, Whitney had kicked Corey out of the house- just giving him enough time to pack his stuff. The next day when Finn had woken up and found it he panicked, calling Corey to tell him he could come back and even offering to kick Whitney out and even cut her off. But Corey refused. He had the funds to provide for himself, Whitney had never worked a day in her life and would be nothing without Finn's money. Whitney was bad, and he had always loved the sweet taste of revenge. But he didn't want to sink down to her level. Not to mention Sadie, who was 10, would be without a mother constantly in her life, and Corey didn't feel right taking that from her. Instead Corey had his goodbyes to his father and sister, though promising to visit and stay in contact, and then boarded a train from Ireland to the UK. He bounced around between friends for a little while, mainly going between Aimsey, Tubbo, and Wilbur's couches. But when Ranboo had bought himself a house, he offered for Corey to stay, and Corey was happy to take the offer and become roommates with him.
