A New Beginning

Chapter 6

"Wow, Nik you better hope you're not in the doghouse now. Otherwise, she won't let you hump her leg anymore."

"Shut up Kol," Klaus says as he walks out of the room to find Hayley.

A few hours later Ava has finished her seance. Everyone then gathers in the parlor. Ava then begins to explain to them what the Hollow's mother told her. They found out that using Hayley's blood and a certain spell that the Hollow's mother found out about after she passed on can be used to destroy the Hollow's remains. So Hayley cut her hand and filled four small bottles of blood for each of the remains. Then Ava and Fin head out to the first location of one of the Hollow's remains. While Klaus and Hayley head to her parent's old house to get the storage unit key that leads to another one of the remains. Kol and Freya stayed at the plantation and are getting all the materials they need to stop the Hollow from interfering with the spell.

Klaus and Hayley get in the car and drive up to the Labonair house. Once they get there they see how rundown it looks.

It looks even creeper in person than it did on tv. It feels so weird being here. I know I'm technically not Hayley but recently I have been getting flashes of OG Hayley's memories. So it makes it feel like we are becoming one person now. The more I look at this house the more my heart starts to ache.

"Are you okay little wolf," Klaus asked as they got out of the car?

"Yeah, I'm fine it's just hard to believe that this used to be my home. It makes me think about the life I could have had if the Hollow didn't kill my parents."

"Well, now you have a new home and family that will do whatever it takes to make sure you are safe and never alone again," Klaus says as he moves a piece of hair behind her ear.

Wow, who knows Klaus Mikaelson the big bad Hybrid would be trying to comfort me. I guess you really shouldn't judge someone before getting to know them.

"Your right I do," Hayley said as they both walked up to her old home.

"Do you know where the storage unit key is?"

"Yes, it should be somewhere under the floorboards of the front porch," Hayley said as she began to rip out the floorboards. She then sits on her knees and looks down.

"Do you see it yet," Klaus asked?

"Not yet...oh wait I found it," Hayley says as she pulls out the key from the ground.

"Looks like we're done here and hopefully, you'll never have to come back here," Klaus says as she helps Hayley up and they make their way back to the car.

After they get back to the plantation they find Kol and Freya in the parlor.

"Do you have everything set up," Hayley asked as she walked into the parlor?

"Yes, everything is ready there's no way the Hollow will be able to stop the spell," Freya said.

"Okay, now that we have everything set up let's go get the book. It should be in the possession of a warlock named Vincent Griffith."

"Let's go?" Kol said as he started to make his way to the front door.

"Wait, I think it would be best if only Freya and I went to get the book from Vincent."

"Why can't we come along, little wolf," Klaus asked?

"Well because you and Kol tend to come off more threatening than the rest of us. We don't really want to cause too much of a scene."

"Cause a scene when have I ever caused a scene,"Klaus asked.

"Really you cause a scene just by walking into a room. No fence but just your mere presence tends to cause hostility from others."
