Adeline Stacy sat at her beauty stand made out of lime stone and gold, she looked at herself in the mirror as she puts white powder on her face then red lipstick, then two ladies dressed up all exposed hurried in " Lucille Betty?...am I on next" " After daisy and the dancing ladies" they said She rolls her eyes " these schedules are confusing" she says the two exotic dancer shrug, " I'm just saying, I know it sounds like I'm complaining" she uttered then Daisy and her fellow dancers Entered " Your on Adeline" says the blonde, Adeline walks out " Well break a leg" says Lucille and Betty Adeline smiles and walks out of the dressing room and headed to the stage wearing a Red flurry dress and white gloves she smiles as the crowd of sailors, merchants and Gentlemen roared with joy she opens her mouth as the musicians strung a violin chard and a piano key she started to sing the song Early one Morning.

After she sang her crowd Applauded her and performance, she waves and blows kisses then slowly leaves the stage with a smile on her face, she walks to the dressing room when the Tavern slash Stage performance owner met up with her an older fellow fat and had darken eyes and stopped her for a minute " My My Ms. Stacy you are a true performer" he says " thank you Mr. Walker" she says " 40 shillings" he said holding a small sack of money " Forty sir?" She asked he nods " aye...you have been making big business for me...higher pay check for you" he says she smiles and takes the coins " um thank you" she says he nods as she slowly turns to leave, she sighed as she entered the changing room " How was it?" Asked Lucille " not bad I guess I was pay double this time" Adeline says " you were lucky you" says Betty lighting a cigarette " what are you gonna do with the money" asked Lucille as she painted her toes " I'm going to put 30 of them away and use the ten for myself" says Adeline As she went behind the changing screen dressing more proper to go out sliding into her dark blue cotton dress and tied her shawl over her shoulder then walked to her mirror and puts her hat on " We're are you going" asked Betty " to the bank" says Adeline " oh lovely check on my cat will you?" Asked Lucille " Uh sure" " keys under the brick on the ground" explained Lucille Adeline nods walking out, she gets to the streets as the sun was going down, she walks pass people and got to the bank " Ah Ms. Stacy" said the banker " Mr. Hopper..I got 30 shillings to put in my account" she says " very well" he says then a man recognized her " Your Stella" he says pointing at her she nods " yes I am hello" she says with a smile " um wow your actually more beautiful up close" he says " Really?" " yes" he says she laughs as she kissed him on the cheek " you've made my day" she says he chuckles and hurries out, she walks out of the bank and heads to Lucilles house she got to the front door and got the key and unlocked the door quitely when she heard something inside the lamp was on she looks around when a man was on Lucilles bed " Darling you home?" He says she gasped " um no Lucille sent me to check a cat" she says " bloody cats out and about" he swore she nods and looks around " I am sorry for bothering you" she says " wait.." He says sitting up from bed " your Stella the stage singer" he says " yes I am" she said he smiles " come closer with the lamp" he says she did she noticed his situation he was disabled pillows under his back his covered body, " Wow you do look like an angel" he says she smiles he sighs " fell under a Cart" he says to answer her question she wanted to ask, " Really?" Sitting down in a chair next to the bed " That's why she dances" he says " to support you and the medical for your condition" she says to him " yes" he says she sighs " Sorry...but I have to get going I have a proformance to get to" she says nervously he chuckles ". Well you don't want to be late for that" he says she hurries out, heads to the Tavern she soon arrives and gets to the dressing room, Lucille smiles " there you are were have you been?" She asked having Adeline sit down " checking your cat" she says as Lucille brushed Adeline's dark brown hair. " I also met your um friend at the house" she says Lucille eyes widen " You mean Billy" she says " Yeah he's quite the man...poor soul" she says Lucille sighs " But why do you have a husband Our Manager said we couldn't be married and do this job" says Adeline " it's complicated Lass...you'll understand once your old enough" says Lucille " You don't have a cat do you?" Asked Adeline looking at The older women in the mirror " No I don't" she says " so you wanted me to check Bill?" Asked Adeline " Yes dear you see...No mater what other people say about yah your the kindest most sweetest flower Here" says Lucille Adeline looks at Lucille " what do you mean No mater what people say?" She asked Lucille shook her head " never you mind that" " no what did you mean by that?" Asked Adeline " There have been rumors...gossip about you dear" says Lucille " why...is it because I'm a lady working with Prositutes and Dancers?" " that's part of it" says Lucille Adeline sighs " and the men that admire me" she added Lucille nods as she did Adeline's Makeup, Adeline then got dressed in a Dark blue dress and looks at herself in the mirror " Now Stacy remember smile when your on stage" says Betty squeezing Adeline's cheeks then kissed her friends forehead, Stacy entered the stage smiling when Lucille and Betty followed behind " Now gentelmen Give it up for, Ms. Stacy and her dancers" says the Manager as The ladies went on stage,

Adeline walks to the edge of the stage and blows small kisses then the dancer say

Adeline sang her last song and walks off stage Her Manager smirks " well done...you are quite the performer" he says she smiles as Betty and Lucille looked at each other " I really should reward you" he says getting closer " Sorry sir but Ms. Stacy should be going home now right" says Betty touching Adeline's shoulder " Yeah my mother and Father should be concern" says Adeline he sighs as she hurried past him to change into her regular Attire in the dressing room, " Don't let him do anything to you dear" says Betty as Adeline went behind the screen " Yes he's bad news love especially if Daisy is his bed mate" says Lucille Adeline nods " I understand then I'll refuse him every time" says Adeline " good girl" says Lucille as Adeline walked out from behind the screen putting her Bonnet on and Lucille and Betty were already ready they smiled as the three girls walk out and head home together.
