𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤. She truly was. She was undesirable– even to the band kids. Mollie was the schools freak, but it was worse, because there wasn't a reason to why she was a freak. She didn't play D&D, she didn't hang around the Munson boy, she didn't try to be a non-conformist. It was just put upon her. Whether she was a freak because she hung around Johnathan when she first started school, or whether she was a freak because she was different to her preppy sister, Nancy. She was going to change that... This summer!

See the summer of 1985 was the summer where everything had to be put in place. Mollie Margaret Wheeler was going to finally be an IT girl. Someone people admire. Like Phoebe Cates or Molly Ringwald. This was what was going to happen and nothing was going to stop her. For Mollie had a plan.

This was as precise as a university science project would be. It had stages, checklists, even dates to get things completed by. Yet this project would be top secret because if anyone was to find out about this Mollie would probably combust. For if it landed in the wrong hands it could end up for the worst and no longer will Mollie Margaret Wheeler be the normal freak, she'd being the Munson freak. And being known as a D&D kind of freak (according to herself) would be worse than the death sentence.

Though if Mollie was to think about becoming a D&D freak for too long, she would have probably given up by now. Because if she thought about it for too long the odds would not be in her favour. They just wouldn't.

For Mollie Margaret Wheeler was an appointed freak the day she was born. And it seemed that nothing would change that.

Nothing except validation from her peers who belittled her the most. The same ones who called her a freak, a monster, a slut.

She craved what was foreign to her. And who could blame the middle Wheeler it was all she never had. All she wanted was to feel loved, adored, appreciated by people. She wanted to be known in a good way, and not be forgotten.

Mollie was starting tomorrow morning and if this failed... Well her life might just as well be done with.

This was it.

This was Mollie's Makeover.
