Hello and welcome to the book "My Thoughts" ^^
I first wanted to start off by saying my name ^^
Hi, my name is Kenadee Noel, I am 14, almost 15 (in November) and I am the youngest child in my family. I was raised in a family of two other kids, my brother and my biological sister. I was adopted as soon as I was born and was first given the name Scarlet. Then as time went on, my birth name had been officially changed to Kenadee. I grew up in a house with a single mother, raising three kids and making sure we had all of the things we needed. While she was working, we were being babysat by her youngest sister and also by one of her good friends.
I was between the age of 7 and 8 when my mother had gone out to a party and met, who is now moved out of my house, my "step-father" I guess I would say. He met us, I suppose, a few months before my birthday and had stayed with us for a while before him and my mother went out on their date. A couple of months later we are moving into his house, and I'm very eager to live with him because to me, this was something I never imagined would happen, I always thought it would be me and my mom along with my siblings but then that all changed that day.
A couple of year later we are moving, again, because in the area I was living, they were building new homes, so that was a big red flag for my parents, and we needed to move out of their ASAP so, we started looking for a home and found one out in the country. It's a little town called Leeton, Missouri with the total population of 574. We moved out there the first summer before I started sixth grade. Skipping 3 year later, I was shocked to hear what I was hearing in my parents bed room.
A divorce.
Another one.
Nothing new.
Nothing personal.
Just another person pretending to be happy with my mother, pretending to be happy with me and my siblings, pretending like everything is ok but in reality, its not...
