The Full Moon

3rd P.O.V

"Okay I'm definitely feeling it now" they were all sitting in the hallway of the catacombs "It's weird to not feel the moon. It's almost like being human again". The guys began laughing. "I'm curious" Maya sat up "How long have you guys been werewolves for?". They looked to Soobin. He sighed "Between three and six years". All the guys went quiet. Okay, so it is definitely an uncomfortable conversation for them Luna thought to herself. The air was uncomfortably silent. Maya didn't seem to catch the switch in mood, so she kept going. "How did you guys get turned" Luna cleared her throat "Maya". Maya looked at her with an innocent expression. "I was just" Luna cut her off again "We know". She sent her a look. Maya sat back down again and looked at her feet.

"Guys" Yeonjun's voice broke the silence. The guys were all on their feet in a second. "You might need to tie me up". His eyes were switching between dark brown and gold. Savannah grabbed the chain on the ground. The chains had wolfbane braided around them. Soobin looked at her with a sad expression. "I'm sorry" she said in a soft tone as she approached Yeonjun. Maya followed her. Luna had to stay back as her presence still triggered him. Soobin and Taehyun were holding Yeonjun in case he decided to attack them. Yeonjun looked at Soobin. You could tell he was exhausted and in pain. Soobin gave him a sympathetic look. He grabbed a hold of Yeonjun's arm. He began taking his pain. "No no no don't" Soobin stopped. "It keeps me human" Yeonjun said in a whisper. Soobin's shoulder slumped. He felt useless. He couldn't even do anything to help one of his pack members. They all left the cellar again. Taehyun, Kai and Maya decided to keep watch first. Everyone else stayed in the living room.

~At midnight~

It had been five hours since the sisters did the moon-blocking spell, and everyone was feeling it. The guys were all drained and sore from the lack of moonlight. The sisters were tired. Luna felt sore all over. She was dizzy and drowsy. Everyone was waiting anxiously for something to happen. Luna had been hearing small whispers every now on and then, but she couldn't make out any words. She couldn't seem to focus. A loud roar came from the catacombs. Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai immediately left the living room. Maya helped Luna to her feet. They followed the guys downstairs.

"What going on?" Savannah stood, panicked at the cellar door. "It's not working" Luna and Maya came down "The spell isn't working". Soobin was currently holding Yeonjun off. Taehyun quickly went in to help him. "What do you mean it's not working?!" Maya still had an arm around Luna "Have you seen us?". Beomgyu went in to help as well. "Well look at him" Savannah pointed at Yeonjun. He was breathing heavily. His clothes were ripped in different places because of his own claws. He was sweating profusely, and his hair was a mess. His eyes were flicking a golden colour. Maya slowly let go of Luna before grabbing something from upstairs. She came down with heavy, silver chains. Savannah crossed her arms. "We have to" she sighed. Maya went into the cellar "Hold him". The guys did as told. Maya had to work fast as the boys were getting tired of holding off Yeonjun. She tied the silver chain around his wrists, ankles, and stomach. At last, she grabbed a metal collar and put it around his neck. He was breathing irregular now. At one point he began to growl. "Go" Yeonjun said underneath his breath. Everyone got out of the room and locked the metal bar door with a metal lock. "Will this keep him safe" Kai asked. "I hope so" Savannah said "Cause if it doesn't then I don't think this will end well". Everyone was looking at each other with uneasy eyes.

~Time skip~

20 minutes later Soobin, Savannah, Beomgyu and Luna kept watch of Yeonjun. They were sitting in the hallway of catacombs. Yeonjun let out growls and grunts. Occasionally, shuffling sounds could be heard. They were all sitting completely quiet. Beomgyu kept fidgeting with his fingers. Soobin sat with his eyes closed, focusing on his hearing. Savannah was curled up into a ball. Her head was resting on her knees. Luna was drawing different shapes in the dirt and sand on the ground. Footsteps coming from deep within the catacombs caught her attention. She looked towards the sound. There was nothing. She looked to the others, and they all looked unbothered. Did they not hear that? she thought to herself. She felt a cold shiver down her spine. The footsteps sounded louder and louder. Almost like someone or something was approaching them. She heard a scratching sound. Like claws being dragged across the stone walls. She saw a woman's silhouette beginning to form. She looked back to the others. Nothing. They were gone. Luna turned back to face the woman. To her surprise the woman was now standing, clear as day, in front of the cellar door, looking inside. Luna tried to speak up, but something was making her throat close. The woman looked at her. Luna's eyes widened. Omg, it's the same woman from my vision. The unseen grip around her neck tightened. She began gasping for air. The woman bent down a little. She put a finger up to her mouth and said "Shhh". Her eyes shone a dark red colour. Luna heard a loud ringing in her ears. She shut her eyes.

"Luna. Hey, are you good?" Savannah shook Luna's shoulder. Luna looked around her frantically. She saw the concern on Savannah's face "I think you just zoned out". Luna looked back at where the woman once stood. Gone. She closed her eyes and let her head hang."Yeah I'm alright" she opened her eyes. She furrowed her eyebrows. Without realising it she had written something in the dirt. "Daemonium lupus" she said underneath her breath. "What?" Savannah looked at her in confusion. "Nothing. Sorry, I just zoned out. I guess I'm tired" Luna said as she gave Savannah a small smile. She knew something was wrong but didn't want to pry her any longer."Guys listen" Beomgyu said. It was dead silent. They all looked at Beomgyu confused "There's nothing". "Exactly" it took a second for them to realise what Beomgyu meant. They all looked at each other. "Do you think he is oka-" Beomgyu was cut off by a bloody scream. It was Yeonjun. With no time to waste the four of them ran towards the cellar door. Luna and Soobin looked inside. They could see his long nails, pointy ears and saliva on the floor. Yeonjun was looking downwards. "Omg" Luna said in a breathy voice. It was not just saliva on the floor. There was a big pool of blood. Yeonjun had been clawing at himself. Without having time to think Soobin unlocked the door. "Soobin what are you doing!" Savannah yelled as she tried to stop him from entering. Savannah stopped in her tracks when she saw the pool of blood. Luna pushed past Savannah. Her eyes widened at the sight before her. Beomgyu was frozen still. "Yeonjun" Luna said in a shaky voice. She was scared. Both for herself and for him. He did not answer her or look up. Luna took a closer look at him while still keeping her distance. "Luna be careful" Savannah said in a nervous voice. Luna crouched down and that was when she saw it. The restraints were almost broken. She slowly stood up and walked back to the others without turning around in case he launched at her while her back was turned. "We have a problem" Luna said with a shaky voice "The restraints are almost broken". The others' eyes went wide with fear. "We have got to do something" Soobin said as he looked at Yeonjun. All of them were quiet for a bit. That was until Luna broke the silence. "I have an idea" she said. Luna took in a deep breath before continuing. "Please don't interrupt me before I'm done explaining my plan. The restraints will not keep him for much longer. This means that we are not safe, and neither is he. The only way for us all to be safe is if the door was locked by more than some humane object since he is a supernatural being, and if he was distracted by something so he would try to hurt that instead of himself." The entire room went quiet once Luna had finished. Savannah looked Luna dead in the eyes and said in a cold tone "No Luna". "But if you would jus-" Luna was cut off by Savannah's yell "Enough!". Everyone went quiet. "I will not risk your life for some werewolf" with this Savannah grabbed Luna's wrist and started to drag her towards the door to the upstairs. With a hard pull Luna got free of Savannah's grip. "No" Luna said with a determined voice "I will not just let "some werewolf" kill himself AND the people I care about and love. Trust me I NEED to be here". Savannah tried to grab Luna again "But Lun-". Luna had already walked back towards the room. "Soobin, I need you to put these extra restraints on him" Luna handed him some restraints that were laying on the floor "Beomgyu go help him". Luna walked determined into the room standing directly in front of Yeonjun, who still hadn't moved. After Soobin and Beomgyu had put on the restraints the three of them walked towards the door. Beomgyu stepped out and then Soobin. Before any of them could stop her, Luna had already locked herself in the room with Yeonjun. "Luna!" Savannah let out a yell running towards the door. "From the power of my core, lock this metal door. For the protectionof thee life, shall the door be locked tonight. Great Goddess hear my plea, grant the wish chant to thee" without having time to stop her Luna had already locked the door with a spell. She fell onto her knees. "Luna why" Savannah said as she kneeled, sitting on the opposite side of the door. "We promised" Luna said with a shaky breath "We promised them that we would help". Savannah let out a sarcastic laugh "Help? Help! How in the Goddess' name do you think this is helping anyone??" Savannah tried to sound angry, but you could hear the pain and hurt in her voice. Luna smiled gently at her. "This is the only way I can keep all of you safe" Luna said with a small smile. "What about you?" Savannah said with a shaky voice, no longer able to control the tears running down her face. "That's not my priority right now" Luna said with a determined voice "And you need to go". With that Luna turned her back towards her and went to stand right in front of Yeonjun. "Luna! No! Please! Let me help you" Savannah was a mess. Soobin and Beomgyu just stood there not understanding why Luna decided to do this. Luna turned towards the two guys "Take her with you". Soobin looked Luna straight in the eyes. He saw her determination."C'mon" Soobin said before he helped Savannah to her feet. "You're just agreeing with this! Do you guys not care at all???" Savannah got out of Soobin's grip. "Dude this is wrong" Beomgyu said. Soobin looked at Beomgyu for a split second and he immediately did as told. "Let's go" Soobin said this time getting a much firmer grip on Savannah. Beomgyu helped him with containing her."No! Stop! Please! Let me go!" Savannah was screaming at them to let her go. After a while, they eventually got upstairs and the door to the catacombs was locked.
