Gayoon is being held close by the male, cuddled side-by-side, as their eyes are threatening to close.

Donghyuck is still wearing the shirt that he had since he went to the mall and has only changed to jogging pants, which the girl lent him.

Both pressed into each other's bodies, warmth automatically cruised through their systems as they relished the comfort and relief they felt.

For the first time, Gayoon feels secured.

And for the first time, Donghyuck felt like he was finally home.

"Are you asleep?" Gayoon whispered, careful if ever she'd wake the male up.

"No," Donghyuck mumbled in reply. "Why?"

"Nothing," she dismissed and closed her eyes.

Donghyuck opened his eyes and peered into her face.

"Are you comfortable?"

Gayoon only nodded, and Donghyuck could feel her breaths getting shallow.

He just let her travel to her dreamland while he softly patted her arm.

It's so unfamiliar—this situation. Yet it feels right.

Donghyuck from the previous months would either get wasted on the bar or wake up with a terrible headache, praying tightly for all the deities to not let him meet his soulmate.

But now, on his arms, in this late night, alone in the same place, in the same bed—him with his soulmate.

What an irony.

Donghyuck sighed and closed his eyes, letting sleep take over him.

Gayoon scrunched her nose and was pulled out of her sleep when a soft contact was placed on the top of her nose, squirming a little under the comfort of the blanket.

A chuckle could then be heard, her ears piquing at the sound.

"Hey, I should go." A whisper came close to her ear.

Gayoon only let out an inaudible mumble.
