"What are you thinking?"

I was interrupted by Yohan's voice. I stared at him. Iginala ko ang paningin sa paligid. I'm sure it's a VIP room.

"Don't think about the bills. I've taken care of it," sabi niya na parang nababasa niya ang isip ko.

I frowned. He really took care of me for two days, huh? Hindi naman niya ako responsibilidad. I'm afraid that I'm wasting his time.

"Tahimik mo," he commented.

"Ingay mo."

"Sungit."

I rolled my eyes. It's just I really couldn't find the right words to say? Why was it so hard for me to say the word 'thank you?'

* * *

"Welcome back ,attorney!"

I finally returned after two weeks of resting and here they are, welcoming me. I shook my head, smiling. May confetti pa sila at may kaunting handaan. Really. Hindi naman nila kailangang gawin 'to.

"Thank you," I thanked them again for the second time as we were happily eating the foods they prepared.

"Walang anuman, attorney. Masaya kaming nakabalik ka," my intern smiled as he put spaghetti on my plate.

I just let them do what they want and started to do my work.

Ang dami ko pang kailangang asikasuhin.

"Attorney, may naghahanap sa'yo."

I cocked my head to the side.

"Sino?" I asked my secretary.

She blushed. She cleared her throat before she spoke.

"Si Engineer Arellano, nasa labas. Puntahan niyo raw," aniya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Hindi naman siya nagtext ah?

I got my bag and went out.

He was wearing a simple white shirt, paired with a cargo pant, which seems new to me dahil palagi siyang naka formal. His hands were on his pocket while leaning on his mercedes benz.. and he looks..damn hot.

I took off my sunglasses and arched my brow.

"Can I kidnap you?" he asked, grinning.

I rolled my eyes as I went inside his car.

"You'll see.."

My eyes roamed around the place.

He brought me to an art museum. Hindi ko inakalang dito niya ako dadalhin.

He was silently watching me as I took my time to praise the art works.

I'm not really good at painting but there's something about art. It makes me calm.

We spent one hour there. He even offered to take pictures of me but I declined. I was never fond of taking pictures.

I smiled when I got inside his car. Watching those art works really made me calm.

"You're smiling.." he commented.

Agad nawala ang ngiti sa aking labi. Mahina siyang tumawa.

"What?" I asked when he remained staring at me.

Our eye locked together. We stared at each other until our stares became intense.

I cleared my throat and looked away.

I never understood why I liked him calling my name.

It's just that I'm scared.

"What?"

"Can I keep seeing you?" he asked, getting hopeful.

I remained staring at him.

"I know I told you I'll see you until the house is over.." his finger comb his hair.

"I know I'm being selfish, but can I keep seeing you?" he asked using his soft voice. "Can I keep being selfish baby?"

Wala na.

Damn you, Arellano.
