The Beginning

*Lola! Lola!* As her consciousness fades his voice still reached her....

"Mr. Luis! Mr. Luis!" The teacher yelled at the sleeping student "Yes sir?" He replied, "If you're gonna sleep through the whole day might as well not come to school!"

Justin, a friend of luis came to check up on him. "Bro are you okay? I know it's been tough since your grandma was diagnosed with a terminal illness."

Luis replied, "Yeah bro i'm alright i just don't get much sleep because of what happened, sorry to worry you."

Then came his girlfriend named Amber "Hey Luis~~, umm i don't have enough money do you mind lending me some?"

He said, "How much?"

"Oh just 100"

Then justin said, "Yo leave him he's not feeling good"

Luis said, "No it's okay, but sorry amber i don't have money right now."

Amber said with a disappointed said, "Ugh fine."

"What a bitch." The class president Kelly said.

"Why don't you break up with her you know it's not going to work."

"I can't." Luis said, "She is the only one that's giving me hope."

"Oh fine just don't push yourself too hard okay? I know what happened to your grandma, just let me know if you need help."

Luis replied with a smiling face, "Thank you"

"Eww Amber why don't you just dump him? Look at him his flirting with another girl and he doesn't give you money anymore." A friend of amber said

"You know what i think you're right i'll dump him tomorrow."

*Tomorrow*

"Yo Luis let's go to the canteen i'll treat you!" Justin said with a happy face

"What's gotten into you? But i won't reject that offer." Luis replied

then Amber enters the classroom, "Hey Luis, can i have a word with you?"

"Sorry but we already made plans to go to the canteen so bye bye" Said Justin

"Bro sorry but can you go on ahead without me?"

"Alright bro i'll just buy you a snack i know you're saving up for your grandma"

Luis replied with a smile "Thanks bro."

"Huh?? What did he say? You? Saving up? Hahaha don't make me laugh you said when we became together that you'll give me anything!" Amber said

Luis replied, "Yeah sorry its just, my grandmother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and i need to buy her medicines so her pain will be minimized and there's also the surgery to cure her but it cost a whole lot more so i need to save up as much as i can."

"But isn't there supposed to be a budget in the government for your situation also where are your parents are they ignoring your grandmother's condition?" Amber said with a confused face

"They're gone actually it's just me and my grandma that's why i need to take care of her because i'm the only person that can do that for her, so i'm sorry that i can't give you anything right now" Luis replied

"At any rate if you can't give me what i need i'll have to break up with you, so goodbye" Amber said with a disappointed face,

"W-wait a minute!" Luis shouted

"Hey Luis i got you your snack!, Hey what happened?" Justin worringly asked,

"Oh nothing man thanks for the treat." Luis replied

*Back in class*

*Alright class that's all for today you're dismissed* Kelly asked, "Hey Luis are you going to go to the groupings later? I'd like to discuss about the group assignment, we're just unlucky we have Amber in our group"

"I'm not sure but i'll try. I need to go now, goodbye kelly." Luis replied.

*In the house*

"Hello grandma, how are you feeling?"

"Oh i-i'm f-fine my child i'm just sleepy" Grandmother said.

Her nurse said to Luis that he needs to buy another batch of her meds because it's almost out

"Okay i'll go later" Luis replied.

*Later*

"Alright, i'll be heading out now goodbye grandma! Nurse please watch her for a bit."

*At the store*

"Umm how much is it?" Luis asked to the cashier

"Oh its 1,500 in total" The cashier replied

"WHAT?! Well i guess that's the for this kind of medicine... Now then i should go now, oh wait i have to bring grandma a snack"

*Goes to a bakery*
"Hello i'll take that bread and also that, thanks"

*His phone rang as he grabbed the bread*

"Hello? Nurse?"

The nurse replied, "WHERE ARE YOU? COME BACK RIGHT NOW, YOUR GRANDMOTHER SH-SHE'S COMVULSING!"

Luis immediately ran without taking his change so the seller chased him

"Hey! Hey! Hey sir! Your change!"

But Luis couldn't hear it as his mind is a mess at that moment.

Then Kelly and Amber saw Luis running and he was being chased by a girl Kelly said "Hey wait where are you going we are gonna have a meeting in the school that's the opposite direction!"

So they also started to chase him "Luis! Luis! Luis!" Kelly shouted

Then the girl heard his name so she also started shouting "Luis! Luis! Luis!"

But Luis still couldn't hear it and he was close to the intersection and the girl sped up while shouting "Luis! There's a car coming stop!!" as she tried one last time "Luis!"

But it was too late as he turns his head to the girl he saw at the corner of his eye the approaching car and as he was hit by the car a thought crossed his mind,

"If i can, i'd like to start things from the beginning, a new me, but i guess i can't huh, goodbye kelly, goodbye justin, goodbye grandma."
