Theodore had literally ran all the way to the Gryffindor common rooms like his life depended on it. He also brought Veridian her favorite candy. Exploding bon bons. They were white chocolates filled with orange and pineapple popping candy.
Harry let Theo in, knowing of their friendship. He flashes the boy a quick smile and runs up the stairs to her dorm. Nearly tripping on a step.
He knocks twice and then stops for a few seconds — knocking another three times. A code they made up to let each other know it was one of them at the door. Theodore twist the knob to let himself in after she yells a " come in ! "
Veridian smiles brightly at the tall Slytherin.
" I'm here ! " he leans on his knees catching his breath.
She laughs at his tiredness and gestures him to sit next to her. Veridian adjust the mirror and front of her and heats up her flat iron.
Theo watches her every move with a smile. He opens one of the candies and taps her shoulder. " Here. " Veridian turns opens her mouth as Theo drops the chocolate onto her tongue. She closes her mouth beaming at him.
The two sit there drowning in one another's company. As Veridian shows him how she does her hair. Theo just sits there and watches in awe.
