Before Byakuya could retort, Naomi spoke up.

"Why don't the four of us just all go together." She suggests.

"I'd rather die." I said, a serious look on my face.

"Likewise. Besides, I doubt she'd have much to contribute to the investigation." Byakuya said.

A tick mark appeared on my temple and I turned to him.

"Excuse me!? I contributed last time, I can contribute again!" I shout.

"I highly doubt that." He jeered.

Makoto then stepped in. "Why don't we all just agree to investigate together."

"Yeah. It will avoid an unnecessary argument that will just waste time." Naomi added. "Also, it'll spare me from having to listen to an argument."

I hated to admit that they were right. Arguing didn't benefit any of us.

I sighed. "Fine."

Byakuya nodded. "Now then, shall we get started? We need to get moving. There's no time to be standing around."

I rolled my eyes but went along with his words nonetheless. I didn't want to start another argument as it was just waste more time. I look down and notice a dumbbell on the ground. I walk up to it and that's when I noticed it has a bloodstain smeared onto it.

"The Monokuma File said "a blow to the head with a blunt object" is what killed her." Byakuya said.

"Does that mean this dumbbell was actually the murder weapon...?" Makoto asked.

"I doubt it could've been anything else." Naomi replied.

"Locker Room Dumbbell" has been added to the Truth Bullets section of your handbook

Makoto must've noticed something else because he walked over towards the close by Chihiro's corpse. We followed him and saw a poster. It was of a girl at the beach wearing a black bikini doing a weird pose. Why did this poster even exist? There was also a bit of a blood splatter on the girl's face. It must've happened during the murder.

I sucked in a breath and walked to stand in front of Chihiro's body. I could feel the life draining out of my body. Chihiro was fine yesterday, I talked to her about 12 hours or so ago. I didn't want to believe this was happening.

"But the more I look, the more strange it all seems. This must be Genocide Jack's handiwork." Byakuya said, snapping me out of my horror filled daze.

"Well, but..." Makoto trailed off.

"But we're still not sure he did it. Is that what you want to say? I wonder about that..." Byakuya trailed off with a small chuckle.

Naomi grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to her. She leaned in closer to my ear and whispered.

"Do you think it was really Genocide Jack?" She asked.

I shrug. "I honestly don't know. A copycat killer seems more likely because what are the odds that a serial killer is really here?"
