Start from the beginning

The fifteen minute walk to the mall was quite loud as Naty rambled on and on about people who put too much make up on.

"Seriously, I don't get it!" she says, raising her hands up. "I mean, you know what they say, 'More is less'. Like seriously, they'd look like the freaking Joker. It's like they slammed their faces on cake. Aww Cake... I miss those dorks. Anyway, what makes them think that it'd make them prettier?! I mean, I totally support girls putting on make up because they WANT to, like, yeees! But some people just don't know their limits, I swear to God," she shakes her head, her strawberry blonde curls bouncing around.

"Okay Naty, whatever you say."I laugh.

When we finally get in the mall, she leads me into a store and we start shopping. And when I say 'shopping', I mean Naty throwing clothes in my direction for me to carry, her running into the fitting room to try the clothes on, and me sitting outside, waiting for her to finish.

"Addie, look for things you like and try them on." Naty says from inside the fitting room.

"Nah, it's okay," I laugh.

"You sure?"

"Yep"

"Well, okay then.." she laughs. "Aw I really like this one. Too big though." she sighs and I roll my eyes at her, laughing.

"Do you want me to get the right size?" I ask.

"Can you?"

"Yeah, sure" I shrug. I didn't really have anything to do at the moment.

"You really really sure?"

I laugh. "Yeah Nat, really really sure."

"Aw thanks Addie, you're the best"

"Sure, sure." I roll my eyes, smiling. "Which one is it?"

"The black one, with long sleeves? Can you grab the smallest size please?"

"Kay" I say, standing up and walking out, heading towards the rack with the article of clothing on it.

Just as I'm about to take it, a voice speaks behind me, freezing me in place.

"Well lookie who we have here," the all too familiar voice says.

I turn around to see Cassandra. "Hey Allison" she giggles. "Funny how we always we each other at the mall."

Way to ruin my day.

Rolling my eyes, I cross my arms. "What do you want now?"

"Nothing, just here to shop, like you." she answers, smirking.

"Whatever." I say, grabbing the black piece of clothing, hoping that I got the right size and walking back to the fitting room.

"I was right you know." she pipes up from behind me, making me turn around and raise my eyebrows. "I knew he was just going to leave you."

I think it was pretty obvious who she was talking about. "He's on tour Cassandra. It's not like he's leaving me." I roll my eyes. "He's just... away for a while."

"Yeah, but it's a long tour Ally, do you really think he would stick with you even after all the other girls he'll be meeting on tour?"

"You're not making any sense." I sigh.

"Aren't I?"

Does she want to go home crying with a broken arm?

Who the hell does this girl think she is?

"Look, I don't care what's going on in your head okay? But I trust Luke and I know he'd never do anything to hurt me. Don't try to make me think otherwise because it's not gonna work."

And with that, I run back to the fitting rooms.

"Addison. Addieee? Helloooo?"

"Huh? What?" I blink, looking at my best friend who was looking worried. We were currently walking back to me house since Naty noticed that I was a bit out of it at the mall.

"Are you alright? You've been spacing out a lot today." she frowns.

"Um, yeah, I'm fine." I force a smile. Well, that was partially a lie though. Cassandra's words have been bugging me all day. But I knew she was just trying to get into my head.

Luke wouldn't do that to me. I trust him with my life.

Frick that bish if she thought she would be able make me just un-trust Luke.

It just really annoyed me how she thought that she was the queen of everything.

It made me want to break her fake-ass nose, and pull her hair out.

Woah, my thoughts were pretty violent.

"YO! Addie! Losing you again" Naty chuckles.

"Shoot, sorry Nat. It's just that something's been bugging me lately."

"Do you want to talk about it?" she smiles a little.

"It's okay. It's nothing important anyway." I say, kicking a pebble on the pavement.

"Okay," she smiles, letting it slide. I give her a small smile, thanking her for understanding.

"Anyway," she says getting all excited suddenly. "I have amaaazing news!"

I laugh, shaking my head. "What?"

"Well, you know my birthday's coming next week right?"

"Yeah, of course! Happy birthday Natasha!" I giggle. This girl sure knew how to lighten someone's mood up.

"Aw, thank you Addison." she wipes a fake year from her cheek.

"So yeah, guess what?" she jumps, excitedly. "I got tickets to Phoenix! And you're coming with!"

My eyes widen. "What? Really? Seriously?"

She nods frantically, jumping up and down.

"Yes Addie! Seriously!"

"What? Who got you tickets? Like are you sure you want to take me?"

"Hmm, it's a surprise, I'll tell you later! And of course I'm sure I want to take you with me!"

"It's a surprise?" I raise my eyebrows, laughing at the sight of her, jumping up and down.

"Yeah, it is, so no questions, your mom knows already and she's cool with it! The flight's in three days, so I'd start packing if I were you!"

"What, really?"

"Uh huh! Go, call her now!" she smiles.

"Okay," I laugh. I grab my phone from the back pocket of my jeans and call my mom.

"Hey hun, what's up?" my mom's chirpy voice answers.

"Hey mom!" I reply. "Do you know about this traveling to Phoenix thing?"

She giggles as if she knows something I don't. "Yeah, and you guys are leaving in three days, so start packing up honey bunches!" she says.

"Okay. Thanks mom. Love you!"

"Love you too!" she says and I hang up, looking back to Naty who was smiling from ear to ear in excitement.

"Told you right? Got it all under control."

I laugh, rolling my eyes.

"I know you and planes don't really go well together, but I promise, you're going to love the trip." she smiles.

This was going to be a fun weekend.
