Hi everyone to a new story. I recently watched Violet Evergarden and i love it. Since i am finished with the anime i think i want to read the LN. Not everything in this story will be the same, i will make mistakes in some things because i have not the best memory. I will try to upload often but i don't promise anything. Of course this will have spoiler from the entire anime.

Y/n pov

The war started and i can't do anything. Everyone says that i am too young to go to war and i should stay home. After the war started our house got destroyed so me and mom live at our relatives. Dad is at war and i am scared that i will never see him again. My cousins Gilbert and Dietfried are there too. Sometimes i am allowed to go there to visit dad but only if everything is safe. I want to be a soldier too. Not because i like it. I hate it. I want to become a soldier so i can protect the people i love the most. Mom said that it will be better to be something that has nothing to do with the army. I understand her, a loving mother would never wants to see their child to go to a war that they could never came back home. If this war will not end until i am 18 then i will fight too. But now i am only 10.
I am used to see Gilbert visiting us. He is really old. I will not be in shock if he would actually be my uncle. Same goes with Dietfried who is older than Gilbert.
One day i see Gilbert visiting again. But this time is different. I am looking on the window to see him with a little girl. She looks like she is the same age as me. She looks really pretty but she is so dirty. Was she abandoned? She has blonde hair and blue eyes. I never saw someone like her. I can say she is the most beautiful gilr in the world. Maybe she is here now so i can have a new friend. I am going to the door and Gilbert open the door and enter with that girl.

Y/n:Gilbert, good to see you. What happened?

Gilbert:Doesn't really matter. I will explain it to you later

I start to look at the girl that is in front of me and start smiling. She looks at me with no emotion on her face. I hope that she doesn't think that i am a bad person.

Y/n:Hi, i am Y/n. I'm glad to meet you

I look at her expecting a response but i hear nothing

Gilbert:She doesn't speak yes, sorry

Y/n:Oh, i understand. We can still play together without talking

Gilbert:Y/n, about this...

M/n(Mother's name):Gilbert, you are back. But what is with the little girl?

Gilbert:I will tell you in four eyes, now she really needs a bath

Maid:Do you need something sir?

Gilbert:Take her to bath ang give her some clothes

Maid:But we don't have clothes for little girls

Gilbert:Y/n, would you mind if this girl will wear your clothes?

Y/n:Oh, she can wear my clothes. I don't have a problem with this

Maid:I understand, come

The maid and the little girl goes and now we are only me, Gilbert and mom

Y/n:Gilbert, would she stay her and play with me?

Gilbert:I am sorry Y/n but i have to take her somewhere different

Y/n:But she will visit us with you, right?

Gilbert:I don't know
