Song From The Past

As the world began to glitch, the scene of the surroundings began to disintegrate into nothingness unfolding in front of my eyes.

'This magic level, it belong to a cosmic entity'

I couldn't help but let out a smile. For the magic being strong enough to deceive my eyes, i've been too comfortable it seems.

(Welcome challenger. You've been chosen to participate in 'Enlightement Game')

A doll suddenly appear in front of me, a normal looking doll. But the leaking of the divine energy from that doll couldn't escaped my eyes

'a doll as an avatar? So it just some insect'

For the higher being, they don't need such thing as avatar as they could descend into this realm with their true body and completely erase their aura.

"What do you want?"

(Very well, i like when a person fast at adapting. Challenger----!!!!)

The doll suddenly turn silent in mid conversation, i guess he sbout to say my name but didn't know about it.

After about half an hour, the doll start talking again.

(There seem some error in my system. Challenger, may i know your name?)

"You can call me......blanche"

Having an insect mutter my divine name which was gave to me by rimuru-sama is unthinkable.

(Alright blanche. I will explain about game now. Listen carefully.)

A long time ago, during the earlier era where peoples on earth doesn't even know what technology is yet.

There are two sisters that living well together in an orphanage.

The name of the older sister is whitney, while the younger one named Rinnie.

The sisters is happy living their everyday life without any shortcoming. The town their live in is especially religious, so both of them would occasionaly visit the temple and pray together.

Whitney, the older sister is working various oddjob in order to make sure her little sister have enough food.

But no matter how much whitney work, she will never got enough to feed her. This is because of rinnie excessive kindness that let her share her food with the homeless and the orphanage kids.

"Rinnie! How many times do i need to tell you that you need to make sure you eat first before sharing the food with them!"

Whitney of course didn't happy about this fact.

"Sister, i can eat whenever i want to eat thanks to you. But those peoples, they can barely live to tommorow due to lack of food. I just---didn't want to see anybody lose their life sister..."

"Even so? If those homeless die, nobody would even care about them! But you, rinnie, your sister is really love you. So please take care of your body"

"How could you say that sister?! I know that you love me but to say that nobody care about their well being is wrong....i care for them"

Hearing this, whitney just let out a sigh as she hug rinnie tightly.

Many years has passed since then, both whitney and rinnie also has grown up. They no longer stay in orphanage instead they have their own house.

But one thing doesn't change, it is rinnie excessive kindness.

She would use half of her earning to buy food for the homeless, and the peoples in the slums also seem to entirelg relying on her for food.

But still, whitney has long since she got used to it.

But one day--

"This is lisa, she seemingly just lost her parents recently"

She brought a girl home. This totally shocked whitney greatly.

"It's nice to meet you"

There are never someone else ever stepped into their house, so whitney is unsure about how to treat the guest.

"I found her on the slums, and couldn't help but notice that she couldn't fit in there, so i brought her home"

"O-oh.."

"I hope we can let her stay in here for a few days"

Hearing this, whitney then turned her gaze toward lisa who has been quiet, she does actually have an innocent face.

"Well, it shouldn't be a problem. I hope we got along well, lisa"

Whitney said while extending her hand, though she still puts on a bit of a wary expression

"Y-yes.....me too"

Lisa then smile as she shaked whitney hand.
