Chapter 49:Forever More

"Yes I was stressed as hell but you two are made for each other and I am so happy for you guys. I hope I didn't cause any arguments" Yasmin said worriedly. Josie lowkey felt guilty she almost painted a bad narrative of Yasmin and ran with it.

Craig, his mother, Cortez, and Victoria weren't able to attend but showed their love through a family facetime. "Awww you're going to be a beautiful bride" Ms. Monica smiled. "I've been waiting for this moment forever I knew Ricky would marry you, God is good" she added. Josie was flattered, and emotional, and felt the love. Zel honked his horn and Erica hopped out of the car. "Congratulations bestie, I am so fucking happy for you," she said kissing my cheek.

"Aww thank you, friend" Josie smiled to keep from crying again. "Congratulations Jo," Zel said staying in the car. "Thanks, Zel" she waved at him.

"You okay? Josie asked. "No, he's taking me to my momma's house. I'll be there for a few but you know I wasn't missing this for the world. Ricky literally told me last week his plans so... you got a good one girl" she said

"I do, I gotta just go with the flow more... I was so anxious and the whole time he was preparing to propose. I'm insane" Josie gritted her teeth.

"You're human," she said. Ricky walked over "Sup Erica... how are you feeling? He asked

"I'm feeling happy! I remember when I really couldn't stand your ass... I was ready to fight you every day, now you're a changed man and taking good care of my girl"' Erica said

Ricky laughed "Man looking back makes me want to cringe. I was a shithead but aye shout out to growth" he laughed

"No really, well you two enjoy yourselves. I'll see you soon" she said. "Yeah engagement party coming soon," Ricky said. "We're having a party? Josie asked him. "If you want to" Ricky looked at her.

Shortly everyone drove off letting the newly engaged couple continue to enjoy their moment. The both of them walked back into the store. He locked the door behind him. Ricky felt like he was on top of the world. He bagged Josie and got her hand in marriage despite his ugly past. He knew was the chosen one. He walked back in the room holding a note. "Aww it says congratulations" she smiled

"Okay, how'd you do it? She asked

"Mmm I chatted up with John one morning in Paris..while you were sleeping, particularly after I broke your back in for the third time," he said

"You're really in love with me" she smiled

" I am," he said

"So what's next? She asked

"I was thinking next summer-

"No, what we bout to do? She laughed. "You got two options, well three, one you finish trying on these dresses for me and we go to dinner after, two we pack up and spend the weekend in Jamaica, or three we go home you cook me some dinner and we enjoy each other," he said

"Mmm honestly I'm feeling three, I wanna cook you some dinner now," she said. "You trying to cook for your fiancé now huh? He asked

"Absolutely, what do you want? she pulled him by his tie. "Mmm, you already know what I want," he said

"And make sure you wear those shorts I like" he ordered. Josie turned around moving the box of dresses behind her desk. Suddenly Josie burst into tears sitting on the floor. "Oh my God," she cried. Confused Ricky ran over to her. "Wh-what's wrong? He asked sitting down in front of her. He was freaked out by the sudden mood change

"I really had a shitty day and you wouldn't answer and I needed you so much and come to find out you were preparing to propose..: what the hell? she cried.
