Once Upon a Cookie

I ran and ran as fast as I could. When I finally got home, I was drenched with sweat. Ewww I thought wiping my face. I pulled out my extra keys from my pocket and unlocked the door. In front of me I saw a bottle of water on the dinner table. Just then I realised how thirsty I was, and I quickly ran towards the table and drank the water in one sip. Just then I felt my feet shake. Oh no, I think I ate TOO MANY cookies cause i'm still hype enough. I glanced at my clock, 2:30 it read.

I ran upstairs to my room, and started thinking of ways to get rid of my stupid sugar rush. I decided to run around and use up all my energy, 30 minutes would be enough. So I started jumping on my bed, running around in circles. 10 minutes after, I started laughing really hard, I could't stop and fell down on the floor still laughing. My laughter stopped 5 minutes later, and I decided to run around the house this time. I went over to the bathroom to take a look at myself, but as soon as I came came outside of the bathroom, I saw Conner through my window laughing at something on his phone. Rolling my eyes I jogged downstairs and ran inside the whole house, running up and down the stairs.

Wow this is some exercise I thought. Just then I felt a sudden weight of tiredness on my body, as I walked myself to my room. Just from the curtains, I saw Connor doing something on his laptop, but just then his eyes lifted from the computer screen and he caught me looking at him, and smirked. Just then somehow, I blacked out.

I woke up to someone pouring water on my face. I slowly opened my eyes to see a blurry figure in front of me. I concentrated deeper to see who is was, and there I saw my brother Shawn with worry in his eyes.

"Hi" I waved at him smiling, as he rolled his eyes.

"What happened to you, I was so worried!" He said hugging me. So this is my popular brother Shawn who doesn't really talk to me much. Yup you heard it right, popular. He usually has his friends over, or a party at our house, or he is just locked up in his room, OR at someone's house so we don't really talk.

"So I ate a little too many cookies and drank a can of coke at school, which cause a super sugar rush" I said sitting up. "Then Helly told me to come back home so i won't make a fool of myself. So I came home, and started running around the house, laughing, running up and down stairs, jumping, then when I came back upstairs, I passed out" I said yawning. "Did I mention that I ran all the way home?" I said, as Shawn started laughing really hard. "Whats so funny?" I said crossing my hands.

"You y-" He started laughing harder. "Oh I wish I was there to see that happen" he said, now standing up and going outside still laughing. I rolled my eyes. What does he think of himself? How can he just laugh at me like that! He made me 10 times more embarrassed!!! I thought standing up. Its 2:25 which means my little brother, Christian will be home in 5 minutes. Chris is still a little kid and goes to daycare everyday, and after that he spends the whole day playing with me. You see my parents are doctors, so they are out of the house most of the time, so they don't really have time for the three of us. It sometimes gets really annoying, having your parents literally not know a thing about you, and having a older brother who doesn't talk to you. The only thing i'm really grateful for is Chris, he is really sweet and sometimes he is the one that supports me in my rough times, I really forget how he is the little one sometimes.

I sprinted to the kitchen downstairs, and started making pasta for Chris.

"Ari!!!!!" I heard a little voice scream, as I went to the living room, only to see Chris running towards my and hugging my leg. I messed up his hair and smiled down at him. "Do I smell pasta???" He said with really wide eyes and a huge grin which made him look soo cute!!!
