Till We Meet Again K.SM

It was a peaceful night, the stars shine bright in the night sky with the accompaniment of the moon. Seungmin stood under the cherry blossom tree carefully caressing the writings on the tree's bark. Scribbles that he and his beloved wrote in the past.

As an idol Seungmin's schedule was definitely hectic but he kept on pushing on as he had his supportive hyungs with him. Today, however was extra special, it marked the start of their fourth year as Stray Kids which meant that their dating ban would be finally lifted, granting him the freedom of finally being together with his beloved.

Seungmin hurried bathed and changed once their practice ended and went to the hill a few blocks from their dorm. There he meet one of the most precious human beings in the planet. Nam Hyesu, his childhood friend, a sharp-tongued and witty female who stayed by his side even at his lowest. Seungmin felt a smile crept unto his features as the girl sat peacefully under the cherry blossom tree as she once again read a novel she recently bought.

"Why are you reading in the dark? You're straining your eyes." Seungmin scolded the female in which Hyesu just let out a laugh.

"The moonlight is enough lighting Minnie, besides I was taking a break since my head was beginning to hurt." Hearing this the male sighed out in exasperation.

"It's not a normal headache it's called eye strain you idiot." He then snatched the book and closed it after putting a bookmark on the page leaving the girl pouting.

"I was just getting to the good part." Hyesu then stood up trying to get the book back as Seungmin raised it above his head preventing the girl from reaching it. "Kim Seungmin! Don't force me to make you kneel down!"

"Calm down, didn't you miss me?" On the boy's face displayed an adorable pout which stunned the female for a few moments before realizing the male's motives.

"Don't think that acting cute will excuse your actions!" Hyesu now resorted to jumping just to reach the book successfully catching Seungmin off guard which caused them to fall backwards.

Seungmin fell to the grass cushioning his fall with Hyesu on top of him. Their face a few inches away from each other their nose already touching. They stayed like that for a few minutes before Hyesu noticed their position and attempted to get up but Seungmin immediately wrapped his hands around her waist pulling her back.

"Seungmin what do you think you're doin-" The female's sentence was cut short as Seungmin closed the distance between them and claiming the female's lips.

The kiss was gentle but it expressed Seungmin's feelings for the female that he kept bottled up all those years, his longing and desire for the female in front of him. Sensing that Hyesu didn't respond to the kiss Seungmin pulled away and stared into her eyes.

Hyesu seemingly snapping out of her confused state hurriedly sat up, the events from earlier kept replaying on her head leaving her a blushing and stuttering mess. Seungmin seeing his effect on the female let out a delightful laugh enjoying the cute side of his friend that he rarely saw.

"Stop laughing you idiot! Why did you even do that in the first place?"

"I couldn't help it, besides it's not like it's your first kiss?"

Witnessing the dismissive attitude of Seungmin made Hyesu think that he already kissed another female which made her heart ache a little but her anger overpowered that.

"So what if that was my first kiss?! Don't think that suddenly leaving like that then appearing again on my life is that simple. What am I to you Kim Seungmin I treasured our friendship I understood that it was your dream to be an idol so I let you do what you desire even if it hurts to not have you by my side. I waited for any updates from your side yet not even a single letter or text message and then you mock me like this upon your return. Do you take me as a joke Kim Seungmin?!" Tears flowed down the her cheeks as she let out all the thoughts she kept bottled up for these past few months.
