I was sitting on the couch nursing a beer while waiting for my girl to get home. Looking at the time on my phone, I notice it was already after eleven. Pissed, I sat back and turned on the TV. ESPN was gone keep a niggah company while I waited. Hearing the key turn in the lock I sat back on the couch and folded my arms across my chest. Justify came bouncing in the house wearing a smile from ear to ear.

   “Hey baby,” she greeted breathlessly.

“Don’t hey baby me,” I responded slamming my beer down on the coffee table.

“Ugh, what’s wrong with you?” she asked, after closing and locking the door.

I stood to my feet and stalked across the floor towards her. I could see the fear in her eyes as I approached. “The fuck is this Justify?” I asked snatching the bags from her grasp.

“I told you, me and Pandora were going out to lunch and afterward shopping. Why you tripping?” she dared to ask.

“You and Pandora?” I sniggered sarcastically. “I swear y’all fucking.”

“Ain’t nobody fucking on Pandora,” she laughed, slamming her keys down in her purse.

“Let ask you something,” I flicked at my nose as I watched her body language. “If y’all not fuckin why I ain’t never been to yo’ spot. Huh? I mean,  you always in my shit?”

“Because I thought you wanted me in yo’ shit,” she responded.

Nodding my head, I snatched the bags out of her hand. “What’s all this?” I asked.

“Watch how you handle me niggah?” she gritted.

Smirking, I stuck my hand down in one of the bags and pulled out at an alligator-styled purse. My eyes bugged outta my head at the sight of the price tag. “Three thousand dollars Justify?” I asked, throwing the bag at her head. I could see her body go rigid and her fists bawled at her sides. “What? You gone hit me?” I asked chuckling sarcastically while sticking my hand down in the next bag and pulling out a shoebox.

"I know this bitch didn’t." I thought silently to myself while snatching the top off. I saw some rhinestone shit sitting on a red bottom sole. I was gone choke this bitch dumb.

“Birch, how much these run you? Huh?" At the sound of her silence, I looked up and noticed that her eyes had changed color and there were tears at the wells of her eyes. “What? You ain’t got shit to say?” I threw the box at her, and the top slapped her in the face as the shoes thudded at her feet.

   “Niggah, do you just …”

“Did I just what?” I asked while approaching her hostile demeanor. She just stood there glaring at me with hooded eyes.

“You know what niggah?” She chuckled sinisterly. “You done put yo’ hands on the wrong bitch,” she stated before storming up the stairs. I laughed at her retreat and snatched up my keys. I didn’t need this shit.

Walking out the door, I headed towards my Range and decided to text my boys to see if they wanted to hang out at this new strip joint that had just opened up. Before anyone could respond, I was backing out of the driveway and headed over to the place called Wonderland.
