Chapter 6

   Hailey's Pov

  It's been a few weeks since Eric and I have been dating. Donna has gone over it and now which is great. Maria and Kelso are still together . Jackie dosen't come around much anymore because of Kelso moving on and FEZ  is still FEZ.

We were in english class , our last class of the day, reading Romeo and Juliet. We were reading the part where Romeo comes to Juliets balcony after the ball and recites a poem

"But soft! What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she.". The teacher read

" Wow this Romeo guy had it bad!" Kelso said

"Michael please we're reading . " Mr. Thomas told him

Then the bell rang

" Alright class! We'll pick it back up on Monday. Friday we have a quiz on it. Who knows I might pick volunteers."

"It's not voluntary if you pick us." Maria told him

" Yeah , why do we have to read this anyway what does this teach us?" I asked

" Children go." he shooed us with the hand and we all left the class.

We got in Eric' s Vista Cruiser and we're on our back to Eric's place. We said our hellos to Mrs. and Mr. Foreman . Then we went to the basement.

" I don't get why we have to read Romero and Juliet! " Kelso shouted

" Exactly my point . What's educational about teens falling in love ?" I asked

" Honestly, i like it ." Maria said

" Why?" Eric asked me

"Cmon it's romantic. There suppose to be enemies but they fall in love."

" But they die." Donna pointed out

" For love! Wouldn't you guys die for love?"

" Sorry babe i'm with everyone on this one." Kelso said

"Fine i'm going to walk to Fatso Burger than." Maria left

"Is she okay ?" Donna asked me

" Honeslty i don't know . She's been moody lately."

  Everyone looks at Kelso

" Don't look at me... I didn't do anything."

" No but...... is she you know....?" Donna asked

" Is she what?"

" You know ." I told him

" God No!!!! " he told us

" Then why is she grumpy ?" Eric asked

" I don't know ! She's been like that with me all day."

I ordered my milkshake and fries and waited. I know i've been snappy with everyone but that's because of the Romero and Juliet scenario. Everyone keeps shutting it down and i'm really into it. Makes me want to be a writer but i think will my family , boyfriend , and friends support me if I were to write something like that .

They called my order and I grabbed my shake and fries and headed out. Outside I saw a familiar car and I walked a little closer to see the owner. It was Hyde ! He was in the front seat making out with a girl. I just stood there with my mouth opened and it's like he felt me starring cause he stopped and looked at me . He shooked his head and told the chick to leave and told me to come over. I walked to his car and sat at the passenger seat.

" Hey Maria.... how are you?"

" How am I? How are you? Where did you go?! "

" Look that dosent matter . I'm back okay." He told while jacking one of my fries.

" Dude we've been worried sick! "

"I'm okay.... Look don't tell anyone i'm telling you this not even your sister and cousin but i liked Hailey but her liking Eric didn't hurt me as much as Eric kissing her. You don't do that man."

"Hyde.... They didn't want to hurt you. Hailey likes both of you ever since we were kids but..."

" Yeah i know it's always Foreman."

"What do you mean? "

" Nothing. C'mon let me take you home."

I looked down and saw all my fries were gone.

"Steven!!" I only called him by his name when i was mad at him

He smirked " What? Can't be deep on an empty stomach ."

We pulled up to my house and I got out. Hyde didn't want to make it obvious that he was here so he parked at my house and we're walking to Eric's basement. I walked in first

" Hey Guys! Look who i found."

Hyde came in and everyone hugged him. Kelso , Donna , Fes , and Jackie hugged him and now it was Hailey's turn.

Hyde was back. We just starred at each other and then I hugged him. I held him tight. Thank god nothing happened to him or it would of killed me.

" You okay?" i asked

"Yeah better."

" Groovy....... groovy...." I slapped him

" OUCH!!! What was that for?"

" For leaving and not letting me explain you dillhole!" I yelled at him

"Dillhole? I'm gonna use that one." Donna said

" Look .... Can we talk in private?" He told me

I nodded and we went outside and stood in the driveway.

" What's up? " I asked him

" I know you're happy with Foreman. I should of handled it like an adult but instead i got stubborn. I just want you to be happy and if that's Foreman groovy.... weird .... but groovy."

"Thanks Hyde." I hugged him

We walked back to the basement and saw the rest of the crew watching tv.

"Hey! Maria? ...." I called my sister

" Yeah?"

"Not to be rude but... why have you been moody?"

"Okay . I'll be honest. Reading Romeo and Juliet at school made me realize I want to become a writer. I love the story telling and be able to have people be in another world when they read. I want to do that. Write love stories or tragic ones. Maybe both. You guys though shutting down Romeo and Juliet just made me think if I wrote things like
that would you support me?"

"Umm Yeah we would!!! Right guys?!" I asked everyone

" Hell yeah!" Donna said hugging her

"Can you make a story about a handsome prince named Kelso?" He asked smiling

"Kelso you're already my prince." She said kissing him

" Am I your prince ?" Eric asked me

"Even better.... You're my Han Solo."

" And you're my princess Leia ."

We started kissing

"Ha! NERD !!" Hyde shouted  but we didn't care

"I'll support you Maria." Fes said

She thanked us and we all went into a big group hug.
