chapter 1

BANG!!!!!

I wake up to a loud noise from downstairs I was so scared I popped up so fast....I didn't know what was going on

Then I hear screaming

I grab a blade from my dresser drawer and run downstairs

I see my mom on the floor crying and glass shattered everywhere

I ask her what's wrong

She couldn't get the words out

Jadis:mom what happened

Mom:u-ur dad.....h-hes dead

Jadis:what....

After I heard that I just sat there in shockness

My uncle busts through the door and sees me

My eyes start tearing up and I fall down

He picks me up and carries me up stairs

Uncle:stay here jadis it's very important that you stay here don't move

I didn't know what was going on

I hear a loud commotion down stairs and screaming

And then everything just blacks out

I wake up from the dream I had.....

The bed was wet...I was sweating a lot

I get up and check the time

It was 5:02 am

I look out the window and see it's still dark so I grab some clothes from my dresser drawer and head to my bathroom

In the bathroom I look in the mirror

And see how much I look like my father

And then I just think about what happened when I was young

I take my clothes off and get in the shower

I turn the water on and turn the cold nob and the hot nob on

Making the water warm

I sit in the shower for a couple of minutes just letting the water hit my body and run through my curls

I grab my rag and soap to start bathing

After the shower


I get out the shower and go to the sink

I grab the toothpaste and toothbrush and start brushing my teeth

After I brush my teeth I was my face and moisturize it

I moisturize my hair and put it into a back ponytail

I put on my white shirt and black jacket and black sweats and grab some fragrance to put on

I grab two blades and my gun and head out the house and it's about 5:43

I start walking down the road and I stop at a gas station

I grab a water bottle and I go to the counter and woman behind the counter for a grabba leaf...I ask her if I can feel the packet before I purchase it she says yes

I feel all the packets until I find the right ones I found 3 of them I wanted

I ask her to ring it up

She looks at me and she smirks

And slowly rings the items up.

I look at her

And she bites her lip

Mind u this I am a girl

With masculine features

I look at her and I lean forwards toward the counter and she leans forward

I whisper in her ear

Jadis:I know what you want from me....and u might know sure and well how to get it

I grab my stuff and smirk at her on the way out

As I walk out the store I see a car pull up and they get out and start shooting

I ran back inside the store and I grab the girl behind the corner and go to the room at the back of the store

I lock the door and she looks at me

She scoots back to the corner and puts her hands over her head

I sit down beside her

Jadis:shhh it's okay

The girl:w-why are they coming here....

Jadis:don't worry about it it's gonna be okay

The girl:o-okay.....

I can see that she's scared...fuck I'm stuck in here with this fine ass bitch and now she scared...dam ion know what to do

Jadis:stay here

I unlock the door and I peek out and look around

It's clear

I peek around the corner and see someone with a black hoodie but he has a ski mask on

I shoot and then I see 2 more come out.

I shoot them both

And I see another dude come Into the store but he runs towards me and he's fast

He throws a punch but I slam him into the wall making it easier for me to pin him to the ground

I rip off his mask and it's one of the people who I didn't expect it to be

Jadis:m-mariano

He pushes me off of him and we both start fighting

I punch him in his throat and he falls

I hit him in the face with my gun and he starts bleeding

I repeat it over and over again

And I stomp him about 7 good times in his chest and stomach

I drag him outside and throw him on the side of the road

I run back into the store and I tug on the knob but the door is locked

I hear her scream

I kick the door down and she screams covering her face

I pick her up and she looks at me crying

Jadis:shhh its okay

I walk down the road to my house and I unlock the door

My room is in the basement so I had to walk downstairs

I go to my room and I place her on the bed

She looks at me

The girl: where am I

Jadis:you're at my house

The girl:what are you going to do to me

Jadis:I'm not going to do anything to you I'm just making sure you're safe

The girl: what happened

Jadis:don't worry about it just know you're safe here

The girl:o-okay

I sit on the bed beside her with my back turned

She crawls over to me and sits down

Jadis: what's your name.....

The girl:i-its Joseline

Jadis:.....

Joseline: what's your name

Jadis: it's jadis

Joseline:how do you pronounce that

Jadis:jay-dis

Joseline:oh

Jadis:yeah

Jadis:do you want me to take you home

Joseline:I'll stay here for a while

I look at her and I get up.

Joseline:where are you going

Jadis:no where

I grab tank top and I go to the other part of my room where she can't see me

I take my shirt off and put on the tank top

I come back and I put my shirt in the dirty clothes even though it has blood on it

I grab my brush from on top of my dresser and look in the mirror

I take my hair out

And brush it down making it fluffy with a middle part

I grab the remote and sit on the bed

I click Netflix and I pick a movie to watch
