The historical Marshalls were not kind people, not until Baron Isaac Marshall was sole owner of the estate after his father's untimely death. Sir Isaac was a good man, fair to the farmers that worked his land and just with his spread of supplies. He valued the work others put into the land and was grateful to the people who worked hard under him.

The Baron was young when he married the love of his life, the beautiful and kind Miss Juliana Fitzroy. They were a most brilliant match, loved by all who knew them, but when the newly Mrs. Marshall came to be with child, she had grown very sick. No medicine or doctor could save her and when she and their child died, Sir Marshall was destroyed. He had vowed to never consider marrying again, content with ending the Marshall line with him.

But just when his time was almost up, he met a young man named Theodore. The young Theo worked the Baron's land and often visited the country estate on matters of business. Over time, during these meetings, the Baron had grown to think of Theo as a close friend. Theo was one of the only people who was not out to gain favor or inherit his land, which made him the perfect person to do so.

Right before his death, the Baron relinquished his land and title to the young man, giving him the promise of a safe and wealthy future for him and whoever came after him.

Now, the Marshall estate is ran by Baron Theodore Marshall and Baroness Sophia Marshall. Together the couple have five children: Isaac, Oliver, Juliana, Henry, and Lillian. The family resides in the historical Marshall country home located on the outskirts of London and run a wealthy territory of farmland. During the social season, they reside in a small but lovely townhouse a few blocks from Grosvenor Square.
