Chapter 9

"REALLY? You will never betray your leader even if ang kapalit nun ay ang makalabas ka dito?" I asked him while smirking.

"Never! Just kill me already wala kayong mapapala sakin!" He shouted.

This bastard won't tell me anything I'm just waisting my time on him.

Lumapit ako kay Yoel at bumulong. "Kill him, we're just wasting our time. Wala tayong mapapala sakaniya."

"Ako na ang bahala sakaniya Boss." Nakangising sabi ni Yoel.

"Itapon mo yan sa ilog. And put a mark on him, gusto kong malaman nila na tayo ang may gawa niyan sa kaniya." I heard him chuckled. "Don't worry boss, akong bahala diyan. Just sit and relax."

Lumabas ako ng torture room at pumasok sa office ko.

"VAL NAMAN, tulungan mo na ako." Kanina pa ako kinukulit ni Isaac na pakiusapan si Ying na bigyan siya ng address ng bahay ng mga magulang ni Ele, yung girlfriend niya na pinsan ni Ying. May misunderstanding kasi sila kaya ayon nag tampo si Ele at 1 week na siyang ganito.

"Ikaw nalang yung pumunta kay Ying. Bakit kailangan ako pa yung pumunta, ikaw naman yung may kailangan?" Sabi ko habang nakakunot ang nuo.

"Ayaw mo nun bro? Makakausap mo si Ying ng mas matagal?" He asked.

"Gusto pero..." Hindi natapos yung sasabihin ko ng bumukas yung pinto.

"Mon fils, magbihis ka at may pupuntahan tayo!" Mom said while giggling.

"Where are we going maman?" Tanong ko habang nakakunot ang nuo.

"Magbihis ka nalang anak." I sighed at pumasok sa kwarto para magbihis.

‘ANAK pumunta ka sa bahay ngayong gabi. Icecelebrate natin ang birthday mo. Wag mong subukang suwayin ako kundi magtatampo ako sayo. Hindi kita papansinin hanggang mamatay ako.’

It was my mom's message. Wala namang dapat i–celebrate. But since mom is very stubborn I don't have a choice.

I am wearing a red fitted dress. This dress is sleeveless so I wore a blazer. My Dad might overreact on my outfit. I paired my dress with jewelries, red pump heels and a clutch bag.

“Boss, san ka pupunta?” Amin asked when he saw me walking towards my car.

“My parents.” I said and he nodded.

“Samahan na kita boss.” He opened the door of the backseat.

“Bring Ula and Robert with us in case of emergency.” I said sternly.

“Yes boss.” He closed the door and opened the door on the driver's seat and maneuvered the car towards my parents house.

“Keimoni talasan mo yang mga mata mo.” Amin said while talking to Keimoni on his phone.

“Oo, kasama ko si boss kaya sinabi ko yun sayo. Ayusin mo yang trabaho mong gago ka. Iwan mo na yang mga babae mo diyan. Mag focus ka sa laptop mo, wag sa mga chixs mo may bukas pa naman.” I sighed. I know Keimoni too well, aside from his high IQ mahilig din siya sa mga babae. He likes to change his girlfriend every week. But I’m sure magkakaroon din yan ng katapat.

“Alam ko kaya tumigil ka na. Hindi ako makikinig sa mga reklamo mo.” Napailing nalang ako at itinuon ang atensiyon ko sa labas.

I was enjoying the view of nature here but it was interupted because I saw someone on the tree beside our gate and that person was familiar.

"Amin, stop the car." I commanded.

"Bakit boss?" He asked after he stoped the car.

"Nakita mo ba yung tao sa may puno? That person was very familiar." I said and when I looked on the tree the person was gone.

"Wala naman boss. Baka na malikmata ka lang." He shrugged.

"Maybe."

“MABUTI naman at pumunta kayo dito Vanessa. Excited na ako sa reaction ng anak ko!" Sabi ng mama ni Ying habang tumitili.

Sabi ni maman birthday daw ni Ying ngayon and Mrs. Xue invited us to dine with them tonight for an important matter.

"Does she like surprises?" I asked.

"Umm.... actually no. But I think hindi na siya ganon kalala di gaya dati. I think my daughter had moved on. Reminder lang, don't greet her Happy Birthday. She really hates it." Mrs. Xue said while sighing.

"Miss Xue Nuying is here." Anunsiyo nung lalaki na nasa entrance.

"She's so beautiful." Manghang sabi ni maman.

"Of course, mana sakin yan." Sabi ni Mrs. Xue habang nag flip hair.

I was once stunned when I saw her on our blind date and now once again stunned on her beauty while walking towards our direction. She looks stunning. I can't take my eyes off her. I was back on my senses when Mrs. Xue gently pinched my side.

"Alam kong maganda ang anak ko Val pero baka matunaw si Ying sa mga titig mo." She said in a teasing tone.

"Kakaiba kasi ang beauty niya Mrs. Xue." Sabi ko habang kinakamot ang aking ulo.

"Call me tita Faye, érzi." She said and tapped my shoulder.

"Tita Faye, bakit walang ibang bisita? I thought marami kayong bisita." Sabi ko habang naka kunot ang nuo.

"It's for you to find out érzi." She responded.

"Mom, let's get strated so that we can finish this celebration already." Ying said coldly to her mom.

"Sure. Tara na, take a sit Val and Vanessa." Tita said while grinning.

All of us take a sit and put the napkins on our lap. The foods on the table are all Filipino dish. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang tawag sa mga pagkaing to maliban nalang sa adobong baboy.

They must be planning something. Hindi naman siguro to....

"Anak, umm..... This dinner is about....." Tita said while stuttering.

"The marriage I see." Can't she smile a little?

"Anak, please naman malapit kanang mag 30. We're doing this for your own good. We want you to have a child at hindi ka tumandang dalaga." Tita pleaded.

She sighed. "Mom alam mong ayaw kong mag pakasal diba? And I hate children so much they're annoying." She said and rolled her eyes.

"Anak, can you do this for us? Para hindi ako mag alala. I even suggested you to adopt a child but you refused.  Since your reason is “children are annoying”." Ying sighed deeply and nodded.

"Okay, but mom can I file a divorce after 6 months?" File a divorce? Impossible mon amour, impossible.

"Nope you can't." Mr. Xue said sternly.

"Dad—" Her father cut her off.

"You can't file a divorce after your marriage period. And besides you already agreed on the marriage earlier hindi mo na pwedeng bawiin yun." Mr. Xue looks so dreadful while speaking.

I can sense a very hot atmosphere between Ying and her father. It's so terrifying.

"How about we start eating everyone?" Singit ni Tita Faye.

"Bon appétit." Maman said in awkwardness.

SHOULD I excuse my self at gawing dahilan ang Company? Nagsisisi akong dumalo ako sa selebrasyong to kaso si mommy mapilit ih.

"Anak, gusto ko pag kinasal na kayo ni Val. Gumawa ka agad kayo ng apo para naman may baby na sa mansion." Sabi ni mom habang tumitili.

"Mom, ayaw kong magka anak."
I sighed deeply again.

"Pero Ying anak gusto ko nang mag ka apo." Ani ni mom habang nag puppy
eyes.

"No—" I didn't finish talking nang sumingit si Ash sa usapan.

"Sure tita, gagawa ka agad kami ni Ying after the wedding." He then winked at me.
