Chapter Nine

Sick Muichiro: Day Two

Genya hurriedly scrambled to find his shotgun, and his yukata

As he was speedrunning around his estate, he whipped past Sanemi

Sanemi grabbed the back of his uniform, and dragged Genya in front of him

"Why are you in such a rush? I could hear your
clobbering from my room! I'm trying to sleep." He scolded

"Sorry, 'Nemi. Muichiro has been assigned to bed rest, and im going to visit him." Genya explained apologetically

Sanemi scoffed in annoyance

"By the way, I found your crappy-looking yukata in my room." Sanemi added

The Wind Pillar pulled out the purple yukata, and chucked it at Genya's face

It made its way down to the floor, and Sanemi walked back to his room, digging his foot into it as he left

The Pillar's shoe left a dirt mark, and Genya sighed

"It was probably an accident. I'll dust it off later.

He picked up the yukata off th ground, and slipped it on

Genya was out the door, and on his way to Muichiro

~at the Mansion~

Genya walked into the recovery room and saw Muichiro, restfully sleeping

The swordsmen walked over to Muichiro, and shook him a bit

"Muichiro...Muichiro!" He whispered

No response

He shook Muichiro a bit harder, and this time c Muichiro started to wake up

"Can't a Hashira get one damn second of sleep here?" He muttered, stretching his arms

Muichiro sat up, and when he saw the person who disturbed his slumber was Genya, he look embarrassed

"S-sorry, I wasn't aware it was you.." Muichiro stammered

Genya chuckled lightly, "It's okay, don't panic.

Muichiro, still lost for words chuckled

Genya took a seat next to Muichiro, and asked, "You feeling better?"

Muichiro rubbed his eyes, and replied, "Yep! Miss Shinobu has been very helpful, and she's been making sure I don't forget to take my pills."

Genya dusted off the dirt mark on his yukata, "That's wonderful! I'm glad your doing okay."

Muichiro noticed the mark, "What happened to your yukata?"

Genya explained, flustered,  "Oh, well, Sanemi stepped on it before I left, so yeah."

Muichiro's eyes turned cold, "You know Sanemi, thinking he could disrepect anyone cus he's a Hashira."

Genya laughed, "You better hope he doesn't catch you saying that!"

They chuckled, and returned to their conversation

Genya and Muichiro talked for about an hour, before Genya stood up

"Gotta go! Work awaits." Genya said, rushing out of the Mansion

Muichiro chuckled and waved goodbye to him, as the younger Shinaguzawa brother ran into the sunset
