I'm sorry Anne (sashanne angst)

The calm before the storm

I fumbled to turn off my alarm because of its obnoxious beeping sound. It's been a month since Amphibia, me and Anne started being around eachother a lot after Marcy moved, sleepovers, school, hell we even text eachother daily. I stood up and searched for my unform that was on the ground and put it on. I heard a buzz from my phone and saw there was a text from Anne, I leaned toward my phone just barely being able to grab it. There was a message from Anne.

Anne: Goodmorning Sasha!
Sasha: Goodmorning

I didn't put as much energy into it as her but I was still extremely tired. I continued the rest of my morning routine and rushed for the bus to make sure I made I didn't miss it. I swallowed because my chest felt heavy, it was a normal experience and usually happens everyday but someday worse than others. It's usually when I get upset or anxious and worsens if I think about it. If I try to breathe it helps and so thats what I did. My counselor told me to and it doesn't really help much but I do it anyway. When I got to school I looked around for Anne then- BAM! "HEY WATCH WHERE-" I turned around to see that Anne ran into me "Oh! Hey Anne!!" "Hey Sashaaaa" I helped Anne up making sure she didn't drop any of her stuff "Are you okay Anne??" She wobbled slightly still slightly shocked "Yeah I'm fine!" The bell rang and I walked Anne to her first class before going to my own. My first period was English and it was boring, I was at the back of the class gladly though and could get on my phone if I wanted most the time. I was about to get on my phone but remembered, old me would do this without a doubt, if I've changed I would try to focus in class, so that's what I did I tried to focus. It was still boring but I got my work done and that's what matters. "Hehe I can flex my grades to Anne later" I said to myself. I left the class feeling semi-accomplished with myself. My next class was pe and I had an A+ in the class, after Amphibia I was basically buff and could easily do all the workouts. Anne was in the same class as me and obviously seemed jealous of my strength. "Hey Anne watch this!" I hopped on one of the bars and started doing pull ups to impress her. Anne watched me do a few before I dropped myself, Anne looked shocked. I wiped the sweat off my face with my shirt. "Holy shit Sasha, how the hell did you do that!?!" I burst out laughing and was blushing but looked away from Anne so she wouldn't notice. I turned back to Anne who was still standing there in awe. "Anne??" She snapped back into reality "Sorry Sash!" We went outside to run on the track. I contemplated running as fast as i could through the run but didn't want to leave Anne. I thought of another plan to impress Anne, it was fun to see her reaction and gave me motivation. I stopped walking and Anne continued talking but turned around when she realized I wasn't walking with her. "Nows my chance I said to myself. I ran to her and swooped her up in my arms. "AAH! SASHA!!" she flailed around and i was laughing. I started running on the track still holding Anne in my arms. "Sasha be careful! I dont wanna fall!!" I gave her a reassuring look "i got you Boonchuy" she looked away from me blushing. We weren't the last to finish so i was happy plus hanging out with Anne was always fun. Soon the class was over. I pushed through the rest of my classes until lunch. I found Anne and sat next to her. I was one of the "popular kids" but didn't hang out with anyone that much, most of my time was devoted to Anne. One of the people from my cheerleading team came up to me and Anne at lunch. "Ever since you came back from being missing you've been such a killjoy and your always hanging out with your little girlfriend" I gave her a death glare, and took a deep breath trying to stay calm. Stay calm for Anne, she hates it when you get angry. "Just leave me and Anne alone.." she rolled her eyes at me and I stared deeper into her eyes. She got uncomfortable and walked away, she sat down at her table and murmured something to her friends. I looked back over to Anne "You alright?" Her face turned to a shade of red which caused me to blush as well. "UHM- YEAH IM GREAT... haha" she made an expression with her arm and was sweating. "Pfft Anne you seek nervous " she looked even more nervous now that I pointed it out "HAHA YEAH IM FINE! NOT NERVOUS AT ALL" we continued to joke and talk at lunch but I couldn't let that dick cheerleader  be an ass to Anne. At last period I didn't have a period with Anne so it was perfect timing, I dropped Anne off at her class then scouted out the area, eventually I found her. "HEY!" She glanced over "Oh if it isn't Sasha Gaybright" her friends snickered at the comment. I had enough of her shit "fucking bitch..." I charged at her, with the skills I still had from Amphibia she quickly landed on her ass, I smiled at how fast I took her down. "WHAT THE HELL SASHA?? CAN'T YOU TAKE A JOKE!" she spat out while her friends helped her up. I was pissed and wanted to kill her. "S-Sasha?" I heard a small whimper coming from behind me and turned around still keeping the cheerleader in my eyesight to make sure she didn't try to pull anything "Anne..?" She looked terrified almost. "Anne I didn't- she-" she backed up "Sasha I thought that you were trying to control your anger.." I lost most of the sadness of her seeing this and it turned into rage "Anne I was just trying to protect you! She- She deserved it!" Her face turned angry as well "Sasha you- you're started to sound like before..." I threw the thing that was in my hand down, which happened to be my phone out if pure anger. I heard it crack but didn't even care "WHAT" she backed up even more "Sasha..." "Know what Anne... I'm done I was doing this FOR YOU, and- and I- you needed my help! I'm helping!!" She just ran off. I started to feel tears well up in my eyes and picked my phone up from the ground. The cheerleader started to say something to try and piss me off but I gave her the worst look I have ever given anyone so she shut up. I went to my locker and threw the stuff in it. I slammed it closed and ran to the bus. I sat in the back and shoved my earbuds into my ears. I spaced off the entire ride home and ran to my room the second I got home. I collapsed in my bed and balled my eyes out.
