I woke up early hours in the morning. I was unsure on why I wasn't in my own house I was in a hospital. My own stuffed animal was on my bed too. It must have been a fatal injury or something but I have college. Fuck! I quickly got dressed, rolled my self a cigarette and walked out of the door. My stuffed animal was in my bag, I couldn't leave him in the hospital alone.

I lit up my cigarette, waiting a half hour for my bus. As I was smoking my cigarette i noticed there was no vehicles in plain sight. I take my last few puffs before hopping into a car and messing around with the wires for it to work. Straight after I drove myself into town. It wasn't hard but I was put off by the unpleasant stench in the car, I pulled up a few of blocks away from my destination. It felt deserted?

Everyone was gone. No one came to college at all, I decided to peer around town, but no one was there. I started to get chills down my spine, the town was completely destroyed, there were corpses upon corpses, they were stacked like building blocks one on top of the other.my heart started to race, I saw someone in the distance, I was relieved, it was Libby. She makes me feel safe, but something seemed off, her beautiful emerald eyes turned into a dark blood like colour.

I went in for a hug and told her how terrified I was, she hugged me back and smiled, but her smile turned into a concerned look she turned to me and said, "I know everyone is trying to kill you, we all have been turned into creatures that no one would have ever dreamt of but you're safe with me my boy". I backed away for a moment before I convinced myself she was being sincere I smiled at the reassurance and hugged Libby once again but tighter, she took my hand.

We then ran to an abandoned house and locked all the doors and barricaded all the windows. She had food for us to survive on along with blankets a fire and lots of comfort "promise me you're not doing this to kill me, because if that's so I will run to find myself garlic!? I swear that's what your allergic to right?", I said slightly nervous in case that was her plan. Libby frowned slightly looking down at the floor, but I couldn't help but look at her it's like she put a trance on me, she's perfect.

Libby then stared back at me in disbelief that I would even ask that, sure everyone is now suddenly trying to kill me but this seems sincere she seems like she won't do a thing. Libby started to walk closer to me shaking her head softly putting her hands on my arms "why would I kill you, I did think about it at first, but I just can't hurt the person I love so I'm going to do everything I can to keep you safe, even if I die trying." I smile once again at my lover blessing me with her kind words and actions "do you want to cuddle?" I asked softly waiting for her to lay down, as she cuddled up next to me, I started drifting in and out of sleep till I finally fell asleep. Libby started playing with my hair as I started to snore away, she kissed me on the forehead and whispered into my ear "goodnight sleep well sweetheart." then shortly after she drifted off to sleep.
