• Chapter 4 •

"yeah- we did have a good relationship in the beginning but now I don't know"

"ha! what a suprise you did another bad thing huh?" HD scoffs

"look I get it I was bad you don't have to rub it in my face"

"hmmm okay but what would you do if you did get out of here?" HD asks with curiosity

"I don't know no one out there really seem to be waiting for me or would even miss me as you said before" dream replies as looking down at the ground
"how about that george guy?" HD questions

Now that confused Dream why in the hell would George care about him "what do you mean? IM VERY SURE he hates me"

"maybe so but he seems to care about you" HD says as he looks at dream, dream then looks at him like he was an idiot "please-- that's the worst lie I've ever heard"

"no seriously, remember why you thought I looked like him and I said yeah cause you can see me as the person you care about the most" HD says

dream was shocked for a moment and replied "even if he did care about me it doesen't mean he misses me or even like me it just  means he has empathy for me which is really weird-" Dream would have never thought that someone would have a bit of empathy for him or maybe it's just pity...

"Maybe so but hey mortal I like you" HD then winks at him "I swear-" "whattt?" HD laughs and dream couldn't help but chuckle a little too

"you know human it really bothers me to see you will all those scars like what happened to you?" HD asks "well as you know not a lot of people like me- and I have the revival boo-" dream couldn't even finish his sentence "THE REVIVAL BOOK??? OH DEAR HEAVENS- WHERE IS IT!?" HD says in a panic

"first of HD chill-" Dreams says like Dream gets that it was a very powerful item that could make death inevitable but still he thinks HD is overreacting

"CHILL!? WHERE IS THE BOOK" HD says in a very serious tone-

"burned- gone- forever not to be seen-" HD just looks at him with pure disbelief and "calmly" says "what."

"its burned?"
"and who burned it"
"me?"
"and WHY?"
"so I'm the only person who has the information"

"and why do you need the information"
"HD people are literally trying to kill me but now they know I'm the only one who could bring back there "loved ones" they just either threaten me to give the information or just leave me alone until they need me" Dream says in he was right he still had a bit of control and he also need the book for his plan...

"human you do realize if the goddess of death finds out that a mortal has information she will literally kill you and never let you be alive again I mean- even her angel of death doesn't know that kind of information in that book I'm suprised you even have that information-" HD was still concerned that Dream had this information but he was also impressed

"yeah someone gave it to me"
"well that person would also be dead if-"
"no he is already dead"
"okay- um well im assuming now when you said you were threatened to give information you meant—"
"torture."
"ah, well let's get you bandaged up I thought the warden would at least heal you"
"HD I'm telling you none of them really like me"

Even if Dream had his intentions all of his actions also deserved consequences

"that's sad but I don't blame them though why not just leave? HD says

Dream was shocked with what he said "what- what do you mean by just leave"

"why not get away from the SMP? I mean you truly know that they don't like you and they don't care about you cause of the criminal things you did so why not start a new? leave this land travel far away from all of them maybe build house for once" HD scoffs at the end of his sentence

"I never thought of that..." Dream says and yes he did not think of that but HD was right no one would ever forgive him for his actions, the smp members hate him, and he has no one. But what about the plan with punz...

"and hey if your lonely I could always live with you" HD smiles "and why would you do that?"

"let's be honest here human this place you've created is a mess if you truly believe that they don't like you and your tired of being stuck here in a cage and even if you go out they would still try to find a way to make you go back in this dreadful place then just leave. go out maybe meet some new people or just live peacefully for once start anew"

"that does sound nice don't get me wrong...but-" dream was cut of when HD says "but what? you want revenge on them or something? you want your goal to be achieved? Daydream as much as I know you had good intentions they'd never forgive you for all that you've done and even if they did scars still show darling and it's also hard to believe that ALL of them would forgive you..."

dream looks at him and just sighs "look dream you should just leave it and I'm honestly giving you advice as a friend plus what's the point of revenge? you tried to do that already and now you end up here karma just finds a way to get back at you huh?"

Dream thinks about all of this very clearly if he left the smp member would have peace

Which in turn would check out his goal all Dream ever wanted was peace and for all of them to live happily but...now that HD opened his eye to these options

To achieve peace...he has too leave and maybe they would not live forever but they'd finally be able to live happily and not cherish the lives that were given to them

Dream has finally accepted that nothing lasts forever and it took him a while even with experience

But how about punz...the only one who stayed by his side maybe he could convince punz to go with him? what about the plans he made...

Would he leave it all behind to restart and give the smp members a chance to cherish their lives...

"but how would I even get out of here?" dream asks "a deal with me" HD smirks "um no with that smirk I could already tell that its a bad idea making a deal with YOU"

HD sighs and says "alright then no deal so what are you gonna do be here in this prison forever? be locked up in here for the rest of eternity? And be known as the monster of the once great Dream SMP?"

"well if you put it that way-" "JUST MAKE A DEAL WITH ME! goodness I'm not trying to harm you here dream I actually care about you if you didn't notice" HD says with a disappointing look even if dream was truly a bad person he still cared about him and he wants to help him change

"Fine" dream says HD looked shocked at him and says "what?" He didn't think that's he'd actually convince him...this made him smile brightly dream just sighs looks at the ground then at him "your right. I have no one here no family, no friends, nothing so yeah let's make the deal"

HD just stares for a while and says "you know this is a forever deal if you ever break the conditions you'd end up back here" even if HD wants to make a deal with him he wants to make sure that dream really wanted this

"Conditions?" "Yes conditions you give yours and I give mine" dream looks at him for a bit and sighs "alright sounds fair— so how does this work? I've never made a deal with a god-"

HD chuckles "here just-" HD held out both his handset and dream holds it then HD begins to say his conditions "I will help you get out of here and also help you to start a new life outside the lands of the SMP and my conditions are you cannot go back here in the SMP, you will try to change your ways, and you have to be by my side" HD grins and dream just looked at him annoyed then said "I will agree to all those conditions and I only have one condition I cannot get hurt by any of the smp members" HD smiles and says "this forever deal is now sealed"

"Well that was easier than I thought" dream says "yeah it was but yeah I should get you out of here, remember I won't do any illusions so the people will know you've escaped" dream was disappointed by this because now they would try to hunt him down "it's alright but luckily my condition is I can't get hurt by them right?" "Yes human I will protect you, you baby" "oh shut up" HD laughs

HD then holds his hand now they have teleported far away
