Just imagine that L was the one that caught the murderer of Misa's family and put him in jail (without killing) then Misa would most Likey worship him, the same way she did with Light, after some events, she gets her death note but have no attention in killing since the killer was caught by the law, sure she would hear about Kira from the news and while she's trying to reach for L, and SOMEHOW succeeded, she will give him her death note and let Rem explain how the killing works, all of them then work together and make a plan to take down Kira for good. After spending time with Misa, and WITHOUT needing to lie or torture her since she has absolutely nothing to do with the Kira case and that she gave him her deadly weapon without hesitation since it meant a lot to her that he cought the killer, he soften up for her and felt more comfortable around her. They would work together and she would be her usual cheerful self and forcing him to get off his desk and have some fresh air, to eat healthy, to sleep properly he realizes that he's getting better as a person because of her, something he isn't really used to, being healthy, touchy, and FEELING THE 🦋🦋 Also, Misa's intentions to L at first should be like, admiration? not obsession the way she felt for Kira. She wanted to thank him but after getting to know him and spend time with him working on the Kira case, she would eventually fall for him, same thing goes for L!!
