1. Coffee ☕️

Douma had always liked coffee, especially in winter, when the snow fell on the city streets and the nights were longer and quieter.

Akaza had discovered that when they were mere co-workers, and that is why, years later, he never forgot to prepare a good coffee for his partner during the cold mornings they spent together in their apartment.

2. Nail polish

The bathroom he shared with Akaza was full of beauty products, mostly shampoos and hair oils; but at the bottom of the dressing table, there was a box with different colors of nail polish.

Douma used to paint his fingers on the weekends, taking the polish off before Monday. Akaza knew that his partner loved his nails but that he did not have the courage to go to work with them painted.

So Akaza always made sure to bring a bottle of acetone with him every time he went to the supermarket, so no one would discover Douma's little secret.

3. Sorrows

The blonde was not a man to hold back his words, no matter how rude or inappropriate, a virtue that, it got him into trouble from time to time, also made him a valuable confidant to all his friends and family.

However, when it came to admitting that something hurt or bothered him… Douma didn't say a word.

Perhaps it was a trauma from past relationships, Akaza never knew because Douma never wanted to talk about it and he respected his partner's past.

But with the time they had been together, Akaza knew that if no one talked to the blonde, he would end up drowning in his sorrows.

Akaza always looked for a way to let his partner know that he could count on him, that they could talk about their feelings and fears without any shame.

And there wasn't a single time that he didn't know the reason behind his lover's sadness, nor was there a single time that he didn't do something about it.
