Mr Shifty POV
As I pushed chairman stone out of a window right behind him I agreed with him, one of us would die in a glorious way, but he'll end up as a big red mushy pancake anyway. then I felt trembling as Nyx says "uh shifty you should probably leave before this place turns into the largest light show you've ever seen." But it was to late everything exploded. Thankfully before I died I saw the red mist of the shifting machine coming around me till I could not see anything then the red mist dissipated and I looked around. From what I could see I was in the middle of an alleyway right beside a guy with a mask and a knife up against someone's neck. So I did what I do best before he could even react to my appearance I punched him twice launching him into a wall where it would take a while for him to get up. Then I looked to the person I saved and they were startled by my great entrance but I asked them "hey are you okay?" The person then looked at me and replied "y,yes thank you." Some how they spoke another language but I understood them but I hid my confusion. I then nod. the person left and I went over to the crook and find something to tie them up with but I call the police telling them where he was. I then tied him up then left knowing police would easily take care of him.

As I was walking around I realized I had no money no home. So I then decide that if I see any other crooks I could just steal their wallets. As I was walking down the streets I see something I have never seen before. A man with a cactus for a head. Then I realize a lot of people look human and others looked like people with completely different looks. But as I keep walking I see a perfect place to live for a while. A abandoned building. Though it looked very rough I could easily use it as a temporary home. So I approached the wall and easily shifted right through it. I then found some bags stuffed with old clothes and a very long thick shirt stuff that would be really good for making a bed and after being transported to some weird place I decided I deserved a nap.
