"Travis! Get down here and make your bed! Your dad will get quite mad when he comes back if you're not ready for knights training tomorrow !" Travis's mother yelled from the cooking corners. "Okay!" Travis yelled back. He put down his book and slowly got out of his bed. He started to take everything out of the bed so he could remake it. He knew there was no point cause he would mess it up in his sleep again, and he also was aware that his father wouldn't come back to the chambers till midnight. But he continued to make his bed because he didn't want any trouble with his mother. Travis missed his father while he was away, but he gets too caught up in his work sometimes... Travis started to mumble while thinking about this subject. "He gets really demanding.. And doesn't treat me very well... he treats me like a peasant.. Maybe he's just tired after working as a servant " He heard the door open behind him, he was startled. He turned around quickly.
"Hey honey.. Can we talk?." his mother told him as she quietly shut the door. "Uhm.. yeah mom, what's up? You know no one else is home, you don't have to be quiet," Travis replied quite confused. "Honey... there's something we need to talk about... you cannot tell anyone..." his mother said quietly as she sat next to Travis on his bed. "Yeah mom? I won't tell anyone," he responded hesitantly, giving out a nervous chuckle. "Listen.. Soon you will be sent on a kind of random, out of nowhere, Adventure.. where you will find-" his mother started. "I'm home early!" a man's voice interrupted from the entrance of the small sized wooden home. "Your fathers home.. I'll tell you later okay?.." she whispered. "Ah... ok..'' Travis replied, while his mother was walking out of the room. What could've been what she was gonna tell me..
The door to his sleeping chamber burst open, "Son!" his father said enthusiastically. "Come give your father a hug!" His father told him in a kind yet stressed or demanding tone. Travis didn't want any trouble so he acted happy with it, he smiled and tipped his head a little, "of course father!" he said, running into his fathers arms. "hi dad!" he said happily. "Hello son!" his father said back, he said it kind of disappointingly as if he was talking to a toddler that just wrapped around his leg and wouldn't let go. Travis felt pressured but he had been happy that his father hugged him back, even though his father most likely didn't mean much by it. His father kind of pushed Travis off of him, "your bed looks... okay.." his father supposed. Travis was kinda confused since he had just made it, he looked over to his bed and everything was how it was before he. "What the...'' he mumbled. "I-i swear i just-" he stopped himself and sighed, he didn't want any trouble so he stayed quiet. "Well uh.. Go make your bed." His father took a slightly strict tone. "O-okay.." Travis muttered quietly. His dad left the room.
Travis felt like he was going to cry, he didn't like when his father seemed upset with him. It honestly scares him. He walked back over to his bed and started remaking it. "What just happened..? Why was my bed just... undone.. In a few seconds... It's just my eyes.. They're playing tricks on me.." he kept telling himself his eyes were messing with him, until he was in bed and asleep.
