Did you ever wake up from a dream that felt so real? Well I have and here's my story...

" Wake up Amanda, it's time for school," My mom yelled at the top of her lungs.

I woke up, knowing that today was going to be the day where I can be a different person in school. My names Amanda Jacobs and I will just tell you a little about myself last year in junior school. I only had one best friend growing up, Liz Conners. We were both big for our age, therefore we didn't have other friends other than each other. Liz was really shy and took the name calling that all of the other students would shout out to us, but I was a little less shy. I would defend us, but only for so long. We would get rocks thrown at us through breaks but never ratted to the teachers. Kids would stop and laugh in the hallways. I hated my life. I knew Liz didn't let it bother her, but deep down inside I knew it did.

Through the summer break, I barely spent time with Liz and instead spent all my time at the gym, or walking. So I barely had a summer break. I finally got down to my goal weight to 125 pounds. It made me feel better and more confident about myself. So I told myself that this year, I was going to be a different person, speak up for myself more loudly if I still get harassed and hopefully to be able to make some new friends. I have naturally dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, 15 years old and heght at approximately 5'0.

The first day in school, and I had the perfect outfit picked out. I wasn't the average girl who was grown up loaded, we were just getting by seeing how it was just me, my mom, and my 2 younger brothers. My dad and mom were seperated when I was 6 but we still get to see my dad on the weekends. I helped my mom around the house with the housework, but she would pay me my allowance if I did. So instead of spending it in the summer on junkfood or whatnot, I baught myself some new clothes. I picked out a nice v-neck pink top with blue cut-off jeans. Topped off with black sneakers with pink laces.
