Hi again! If you haven't read fixation, this might be a little confusing, it's on my page if you're interested!!

KL POV
It had been 8 months since me and Jinsoul became official. We were mid-way through senior year and in the midst of college applications. Unluckily for us, we had pretty polar opposite interests. I'm really into literature and creative writing whereas Jinsoul's main interests are art and for some odd reason, science. She had been confused for the majority of applications on what exactly she wanted to apply for. I'd applied to 2 colleges at this point, both in a 20 mile radius of our home town. Jinsoul however, had applied to a total of zero.

I came to school, Monday morning, a fresh week and a new start. Chuu had started walking with Sooyoung a while ago, she claimed she felt bad for her but both me and Jinsoul had a sneaking suspicion that something more was happening.

I usually met Jinsoul at the gate, believe it or not, over the past eight months she'd actually started coming to school on time. As I walked up, she was there, eyes glued to her phone screen. I ran up to her and wrapped her in a hug, she almost dropped her phone in the process but she eventually hugged me back. "Why are you in a good mood?" She asked in a croacky voice, evidently having woken up minutes before. "It's Monday!" I replied. All my school life, Mondays have always been a nice day for me. If everything ran smoothly then a good start to the week was made. I always tried to make the most out of Mondays. She groaned and began walking into school with me.

"My sister's been bugging me about college applications." She told me, I listened, intently. "I really don't know what to do!" She whined, falling into me which left me almost falling over trying to catch her. "Listen, why don't you come with me today? I'm leaving early to go look at BCU. They have a good science department, so I hear... You should come." I told her. She rolled her eyes and picked herself up. "Scratch that, you are coming. "But I don't want to!" She whined. "You'll never know if you don't look! Besides, you'll miss half the school day..." I said, knowing it would sway her. A small "Fine." left her mouth as she stormed ahead and I ran to try and catch her.

We got to class and although people kind of knew about us and it had been so long since we got together, it wasn't a great idea to hold hands or be too affectionate. Some people we're still a little... Old-fashioned. We sat down together, our teacher said I made a great impact on Jinsoul's work ethic last year, which I definitely did, so we should sit together again this year. After eight months, however, I still couldn't help but stare at her when she was resting her head or actually doing work.

To be honest, it had been a while but I personally still got major butterflies whenever she was near. She always made my heart flutter and I liked it that way. Jinsoul knew this too. She knew I still got nervous around her and used that to her advantage. She'd tease me constantly, especially in school where no one officially knew about us. Besides Chuu and Sooyoung who were walking into the classroom. They sat down, seperated. They sort of had the opposite effect on eachother last year and our teacher had to seperate them for talking too much.

"Did we have an assignment?" Sooyoung asked. She sat behind us and Chuu sat in front. "Yeah, the research project on the cold war." I told her, knowing that panic would ensue in

"Wait? We actually had an assignment? I thought, you know, because of the stress of college applications and everything that maybe, just maybe, our stuck up prick of a teacher would give us a break for once!" She said, loud enough to get some grumbles of agreement from the class. "Relax, he'll give you an extension if you say you were visiting colleges out of state or something. Besides, it's way less homework than he gave us last year and we've had over a week to do it!" I rambled on at her, as usual. "I guess but still..." She said, unsure of her reasoning for being so mad.

Our teacher walked in and got on with the class. "You actually going to write anything or are you just gonna stare again?" Jinsoul whispered to me as she'd caught me, once again, staring. I fumbled with my pen and started writing.
