"Thought you were going to sleep forever," He chuckled before he began removing some paper wrapped items from the brown paper sack. "I hope you're hungry because I drove on the other side of town to bring you the best breakfast sandwich in Hawkins!" He handed one of the paper wrapped sandwiches her way before he began to unwrap his own.

Delilah looked down at the grease stained paper and couldn't help but to grimace at it lightly before she began to unwrap her own. It looked to be a run of the mill bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a round bun. Nothing fancy, but she appreciated Eddie's enthusiasm for it so she scooped it up in her hands before looking up at Eddie, "I'm not gonna be lady like about this," She said with a smirk before taking a large bite into the greasy breakfast sandwich. She had to admit, it honestly wasn't bad. Looks certainly can be deceiving.

I wouldn't want you any other way," He smirked before taking his own bite of his sandwich, "So I figured, if you were up for it, we could go to your parents house and get you a bag so you can change out of your work clothes at least," He nodded towards her, "I couldn't get you out of them last night."

"You didn't try hard enough then," She winked playfully at him. Even being a little disoriented waking up in a bed that wasn't hers, she still found the gumption to flirt with Eddie. He made it so easy. When she noticed light blush on his cheeks, she bit into the sandwich yet again before nodding back at him. "Just whatever you do, don't let Dustin know I'm there, okay?" She asked, in more of a begging manner. She really didn't want him to see her like she was ever again.

"Sure thing," Eddie noted before going back into his sandwich.

As breakfast was finished up, Eddie at least gave her a shirt to change into which was one of his Hellfire Club shirts. It had always looked a little baggy on him and it was on her as well. The two made the trek to her family's house, Delilah unable to wait until she could get one of her jackets. The weather outside was freezing. Hawkins in December was no joke. When they pulled up to the driveway, there were no cars there, but that didn't necessarily mean much. Who knew if her father was still crawling around the house. He was probably unemployed so the chances were high.

"Alright, time for this sting operation to start, clothes, fanny pack, makeup, and some horror movies, right?" He asked, going over the list that she had given him over before she nodded in approval. She couldn't help but still look sad. Now she was dragging a guy she couldn't even call her boyfriend into her family mess. She felt tears sting her eyes again before feeling Eddie's hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay! I'll be quick and no one will see me, I promise," He said, pulled her closer towards him over the center console, "It's gonna be alright. I promise. This will blow over and we'll figure out what to do about Charles in no time." He reassured her.

She was thankful for having his support around her but she was still stewing on that dream she had. She hardly remembered it now but for some reason it made things feel like they actually weren't going to be okay. That red house and Billy. God how she missed Billy. She had left her letterman jacket that he had given her at Eddie's house, but she knew it probably wasn't her favorite thing to see her wear anyways. "Here," He spoke softly, removing his leather jacket and setting it over her shoulders. She cozied up in it and eventually slid her arms through the sleeves. It was pretty warm. "Hold onto this in case you see anyone come home," He said, handing her one of the walkies in his possession that he usually communicated on for dungeons and dragons purposes, "Make sure it's tuned into channel eleven, okay?" He spoke, pushing some of her messy, curly, brown hair behind her ear before rubbing the back of her neck gently.

How was he able to stay so calm in all of this? Before she could ask another question in her mind, his lips were pressed firmly against hers. His hand still stayed on the back of her neck before she kissed him back. This warmed her more than anything as he was quick to jump out of the van and make his way into the Henderson home. She watched the door and streets carefully, wondering if her father and brother were home. The lacking vehicle meant their mother wasn't here, but who knew what the family had decided to get into that day. They knew better than to come looking for Delilah who really still wasn't sure what to do with all this new information. All she wanted to do was stay with Eddie and smoke weed, get drunk, and watch some movies. However, she knew she'd still have to make it to work, but her car was in the garage.
